For those who want to know what the movie clip means, its very powerful. The guy with the glasses represents the government, the people represent the populace. Every day is the same thing for the populace, who work and do things for the benefit of the man while being drugged so they cannot say otherwise. Them playing with the ball of the string in the garden represents how theyre only using us for fun. Its a very powerful message that becomes stronger the more you watch it.

I interpreted it instead as the guy with glasses being the social standard (what we're supposed to do, like working a 9-5 and getting a degree, never doing anything dangerous, etc.) and the girl is breaking away from it to find something different and explore the unknown.

No its just a hippy cult who live in a commune and make their own mdma.. the chick represented a drug influencing a persons underlying issue which brought out her inner killer while things turned out to just be a bad trip when she wakes up the same way, and life continues which further instigates the demon within from the fading thoughts of the bad trip seem to repeat like deja vu and drives her to insanity from the mixture of constantly being high and repeating thoughts of a change to the monotony and the free feeling of when the act was committed in the dream. Truth being she is free to leave on her own will but every morning she gets back in that state of mind and starts to regain composure by not drugging herself, or so she thinks..
