I would love to see a Thunder Ranch M1 carbine be released the M1 carbine is a great option for a lot of ban States and also for older shooters I transferred one to my 64 year old aunt because she didn't have a firearm besides a 10/22 and wanted something with a little more capability it was the perfect option plus she lives in Massachusetts so pre ban 15 + 30 round mags for an option

The M2 machine gun has been in front line military service for 95 consecutive years and NOBODY is whining about it being out of date/ obsolete/antiquated. The Ma Deuce is still getting it done and so is the M1911. Just in case you don't know it, both of these fine weapons were designed by John Moses Browning.

Different animal. There's only so much that can be done to make a better crew served mounted gun. When it comes to man carried guns and mobile machine guns there have been a lot of advancements in the past 80 years. That being said, for most self defense applications a single stack 1911 is plenty of gun. Once you get into more than two threats and a sustained engagement it may not be the best tool for the job.

It’s funny to hear complaints on the price of of a custom 1911. It’s a tool to protect your life they make really effective reasonably priced Glocks. They make all levels of priced weapons just like they do trucks. Get the one that serves you at your price point. I’m not buying a Shelby F150 but don’t think the price will be close to a F150 XL. I buy what works for me. I love choices, I love America and the choices available to me. I’ll drool over one and go practice my shooting skills on my G32.

Why do people think that high quality must be offered at rock bottom prices? A new Porsche cost more than a Kia, simple fact to understand. These pistols are handmade by a master craftsman. Besides, I've seen a number of reworked 1911's that the owners had this much money in when all was said and done. I'd love to see one of these guns at some point; they look great! And if they pass muster for Clint, they'll be fine for mere mortals also.

Love it. No tool disassembly. All my 1911s are This way. Got rid of the ones that required a dang paper clip. I carry a 10mm 1911 in the woods. I love the gun. Last thing I need is a stupid tool to clean it or take it down. I 100% agree with what you said here.

Good on you for going w/ Nighthawk for the new Thunder ranch 1911. I owned a Les Baer TRS back in the day when they were still in Hillsdale Illinois, it was great & it was near perfection; however, Les Baer's quality has really gone down the shit hole since they moved to Iowa & it does not seem that Les himself, gives one iota of shit about it. I've sold all my Les beers after the last POS I was conned into buying from them, where they didn't even respond to my email about all the piss poor manufacturing defects.

1911s.....are not my thing but i respect that gun becuse its a classic i do own one but only because of the nostalgia behind it..... I am a CZ type of guy those are my favorite guns and if you shoot one you would know why and is and will always be my secondary weapon primary weapon is between my AR 15 ...and my Kel-Tec SUB 2000.... I already hear the naysayers Kel-Tec SUB-2000 yes...u can fold it put it in a backpack ...u can put glock 17 33 round mags in it and i can hit head shots at 30 yards away effortlessly..
