Clint, thank you for your service to our Country sir! A year after my Dad and Mom got married, my Dad got drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam. While my Dad was over there, he was exposed to Agent Orange. Then in 1989, when I was in high school, my Dad was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, directly linked to Agent Orange. Our family lost everything, literally, overnight. My Dad was a long distance truck driver from the time he graduated high school, until his diagnosis. He is now 71, almost completely 100% immobile, is in a wheelchair, and requires continuous home care. He gets seen and treated at the VA, but they don’t do a lot to help him. Nor has the Government, even though they are the ones responsible for his disease, and losing not only his career, but everything he ever had, they have done virtually very little for him. No monetary settlement, no 24/7 care at their expense etc.. They do have him set up for some home health care but continuously try and take away the amount he gets. We then have to threaten with law suites so they do not decrease his care, even though his disease continues to get worse. Seeing all of the crap that my Dad has had to go through and then fight for rights and care rightfully entitled and due to him, it has made me appreciate and empathize what you all have gone through! So again, thank you very much for your service sir! And for your videos. I have learned a tremendous amount from you and your videos.

If asked if i could meet anyone in history, living or dead, who would it be? Clint smith is definitely on the short list. Ive had a job that allowed me to meet many, many celebrities, atheletes, etc , and clint is way more appealing than any of them. Just good old fashioned, down to earth, straight talking guys are getting to be harder to find. Then this video tells me he is also a fellow hoosier just makes it even better.
@Brykk5 жыл бұрын
Papi Maximus then you can understand why i chose my words carefully when i said he was on the SHORT LIST. list being the key word here. And if you really want to pick nits, the phrase “short list” is relative and you have no way of knowing what MY definition of the term is for the statement. If you consider that there have been untold hundreds of millions(?) of people that have lived throughout history, i could actually put a thousand people on the list and may define that as a “short list”. Quit trying to sound like a know-it-all and correcting other people who are just making positive comments about something they enjoy. Not only do i not care about your opinion on my comment, but i also dont need to be corrected on what i meant to say.
