Sam got pushed to the wall and had no choice but to overpay him for a low usage center. The man can't shoot and has very limited offensive skills. A lot of the shots he took are lucky hook shot. They went in after bounces. The Thunder is going to start him after paying him $30/mil. Shutting those mouths who keep saying Chet is #5. Or the Thunders won't draft a non shooting bigs. Or Chet/ Shai can't play with a big man who can't shoot. Those guys have no clue. And already seeing them changing the story now.

You’re always saying dumb stuff. We had to spend the money and he was the player we needed to fill out the rotation. He’s a high level role player who does things a casual like you wouldn’t notice. His mid range push shot is very effective, great screener, great cutter, very good passer, and excellent defender. Also Hart isn’t the starting Center. Chet is. Hart will come off the bench and play around 25 minutes as the Center. Chet will play the other minutes at Center and they’ll play together 6-8 minutes per game.

I think room for Cason Wallace needs to be made his both sides of the ball potential is way higher. Dort is a great defender but he is shorter than Caruso, shoots worse, and can’t convert at the rim with any consistency. Cason has a better stroke as well and is a more promising 2-way player that needs room to grow he won’t get if he is sharing the back court with caruso, shai, joe, wiggins, and dort. Not to mention eventually our serbian Giddey will be healthy after a sit year and will need play.

​@@jaredharper8336 Sometimes Starting the worst shooter(dort) is a good thing, there's only one ball and so many shots in the starting unit but of the bench it would unlocks much for the team to have Caruso off the bench....staggering can lead to Caruso playing starter minutes off the bench and maximize his output by him in the 2nd unit being higher up in the shot pecking order Thoughts?
