you know, you making this made these launches really special, even Thunderbirds 4 and 5 have a launch. Kinda nice to see Thunderbird 4 have it's solo launch from the island itself, and Thunderbird 5's elevator still counts as a launch in a way.

Watching this 8 months on still gives me chills. However I have noticed a minor continuity error. Thunderbird 2 selects Pod 4 but Thunderbird 4 launches separately from underneath the island in the next few scenes.

There are multiple XD Thunderbird 4 is also present in it's hanger when Thunderbird 5's elevator launches. Ive watched this over a couple times now and I see a new mistake every time XD

Exactly! We all love the launches! I love the composite shot of TBs 1,2 and Shado as the fly off from the island..great Framing! But variations would be nice! And some night launches as well! im sure the CG1 wouldnt be that more expensive!

They are finally showing Thunderbirds are Go here in Canada. I thought some scenes were "live props" but we're not sure - was accepting that they could be CGI made to look like the old style of the show. Either way, kudos to bringing the old show back, even my wife who is not a sci-fi fan enjoys it!

They are live sets I live in new Zealand where the filming happened at weta workshop and for a short while they were doing tours of the film location of thunder birds it was truly amazing what the team at weta had achieved I think they had 2 different sets for Tracy island (Outside) for the establishing shots and giant sets for the hangers the one fact that has stayed with me was the secret lemon squeezer in each episode which in every episode they put a lemon squeezer on the set to hide the most easyest to see is in thunder bird 1's launch chamber
