@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын

Do catfish, bullhead, crappie, etc. taste better when you catch them during cold times of the year when the water temperature is lower?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
fish out of cold water always seem to taste better :)
@LeandroSantos-bt1lg7 жыл бұрын
Hi Ivo, what rod action do you recommend for jigging? medium or medium heavy?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
Hi Leandro - for salt water, I like to have a bit more power, so I go with the Medium/heavy action :)

The fishing in Buzzards Bay is second to none. I go there every year on a private charter.

Can you or do you have any videos how to rig up your line with a teaser and what you use ? What kind of fishing line do you use ?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel....when we use the Teaser-T, it is an in-line teaser, so you would tie it on, then tie on a 2-foot section of line below it, and you're good-to-go. I use Thunderbraid as my braided line and Thundercarbon or Seaguar fluorocarbon line :)

Can you give some info on the gear used? Pounds on reel/rod and line?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
on that day, it was most likely 20 lb test line (braided line with a fluorocarbon leader) and a medium/heavy action rod

What's the best live bate to catch channel cat fish?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
if your regulations allow it, use gizzard shad :)

Hi Ivo, does the color of line matters? Can I catch carp with a green line? By the way, I lost a good one two days ago. That fish, not sure what kind of fish, cut my line like nothing.
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
Hi Ni - yes - the color of line matters, especially on finicky/suspicious fish like carp....if you are using green mono, that is o.k. - if you are using green braid, be sure to use a fluorocarbon leader :)

Great video Ivo,will you be doing anymore videos on perch fishing,Fishing has not been that great for perch around my area,the perch are all over the place but there just not biting,I have tried a couple different lures and baits but there just not biting,of course the weather has not been the greatest here with ether high winds or pouring rain and thunder storms here..Not sure if the weather has anything to do with perch not biting..So if you have any tips on what I could try or if you can do a video on what a person can do to try and get the perch to bite that be awesome.. Thanks..
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
HI Clarence - great to hear from you and if we get a chance, we will try to do a perch episode soon, using the Stingnose Jigging spoon - we do have a few videos out there already, that you may have seen, but here's one of them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKOwp31jobVkmaM

What was the conclusion, do different lures make a difference? Didn't get enough time to watch the whole video.
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
The conclusion was that different lures do make a difference...Antonio was using a pink bait and got zero hits - then he switched and started to get all kinds of bites....Vincenzo had the same issue, and once he changed, he started setting hooks :)
