still remember that episode when thunder-sub 1st fly that was a time when we were like waooo.....unbelievable feelings and after all these years and watching now its still the same.

The Sahara base attack was originally going to be a series of episodes. The gigantic enemy base would emerge resembling an insect from the Godom homeworld, and then huge battle spanning several episodes. This all got cut when the series was cancelled and all that remains is the very short version shown here. This sacrifice did allow the series ending to proceed so it was probably a good decision.

Sad to lose another good friend of the Thunder-sub, but worst that the enemy loses were tragically being killed at a rate of 5000 to 1. wow. What were they trained to do if they can't handle one Earth war ship? They took an eye test, written name and phone number test and that was there passing grade to becoming soldiers - rediculous to say the least.

The one they killed was Chef Pierre tho and Chef Pierre was the soul of the Thundersub. He provided high quality and exquisite meals that helped boost the morale of the crew. Lol

the strategy of the base leader using the whirlpool is actually good. But he could not deal with all the plot armor... err... I mean armor of Thundersub. Their missiles are useless!

1- maybe you cant just as making rocket engines is very complex 2- more power = more energy/fuel ..so you waster power lifting the extra weight .. this causes a curve of ineficiency hard to overcome
