Thursday Nights with High Street Ghosts 036 // ambient guitar

This one reminded me how often little hints of bands like Cluster and Harmonia unintentionally come through in some of this stuff. I've been able to refine the microlooper, although it isn't yet as flexible as I'd like it.

This video is part of an ongoing series of improvised loop-based ambient guitar music performances.
For the curious, the signal chain from the guitar is a pedalboard (two gain stages, currently Benson Preamp and Hudson Broadcast, WMD Parametric EQ, Boredbrain Transmutron with Red Panda Particle v1, Earthquaker Devices Night Wire, and Jam Delay Llama Deluxe on a crossfade loop, into a Poly Beebo for the looper) to a Zoom L-6 mixer, with 1010 Blackbox and Eventide H9 on aux sends.
