She got really ANGRY at me & gave me a really hard time for throwing all those papers away. I felt UNFAIRLY VICTIMIZED like a little kid being UNJUSTLY PUNISHED. My FEELINGS GOT HURT & I suddenly felt SUPER THREATENED & I immediately went into FIGHT or FLIGHT like a 58-year-old PSYCHO. She said ANGRILY at me, demanding, "Give me those papers!" while referring to the paperwork in the recycle bin. I SHOUTED, at the TOP of my lungs, "No! I will not!" I said it so loud that I'm sure the neighbors next door & across the street could hear me. It was a SUPER DEFENSIVE OVERREACTION by a HYPERSENSITIVE PERSON caused by my brain's overactive FIGHT, FLIGHT & PARALYSIS center called the AMYGDALA. My AMYGDALA learned that HARMFUL dysfunctional behavior UNCONSCIOUSLY from my Dad. He had PTSD & raised his voice a lot. That is how my father emphasized his strong feelings in our house. I have ADHD and this video has helped me so much over the years. When I have trouble concentrating on work or a phone call, I just put it on and let it play near me and for some reason I can then focus on my stuff with the rhythmic radial motion sitting in the corner of my field of vision. My 2.5 year old daughter has massive sensory meltdowns (she’s not yet got a diagnosis, but we have been told she is high risk for autism, which also runs in the family). Your videos help so much when she’s having a meltdown, or unable to cope with a situation. Infact, as I am writing this, she has just fallen asleep watching this video after a huge, full screaming meltdown. I am so grateful for this video; I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago, and it has helped her SO MUCH. Thankyou ❤️

My Mom passed away - - but I am going to purchase this DVD & share it with some of the nursing homes so they might consider them for their patients - - night time is very VERY difficult for Alzheimer patients - children that are in hospital beds - this could very possibly sooth and comfort !!!!

Hi Kathy. I'm sorry to hear that your mother passed away. Due to the nature of her illness, I'm sure that you've been well prepared for this. Still, it's very tragic that she fell to Alzheimer's. That is the worst of them all. I have the version 1.3 discs now, but I don't have have the printed packaging for 1.3. I was supposed to get that today but there was a mix-up processing my order and it looks like that won't be here until next week. The only difference in the packaging is the 1.2 changed to 1.3 and the copyright changed from 2012 to 2014. Everything else is the same. If you wanted to get the DVD now, I could ship it to you with the 1.2 case artwork, but the disc would say 1.3. Otherwise, I'll send you a note with a link when it's ready to ship with proper packaging. Best wishes, Ken

Thank you for your channel. I was amazed at your artwork a few years ago and could not do it on my computer (it takes a powerful rig). But a powerful computer cots so much and is so quickly obsolete, so I learned to build computers, put a nice one together and was able to make kaleidoscopes also. The work of assembling the footage and constructing and editing it, choosing the music and reviewing the work is relaxing and soothing for me. I am one of those Asperger's people, and this gives me a good way to be creative and enjoy music and LOTS of color. Thank you very much for all you share!

Being a kaleidoscope artist is therapeutic I suffer from a lack of initiative and motivation. I know how to make kaleidoscopes but I’m very slow to do it, and do it very rarely. I have the gift but I use the gift rarely because of motivation issues. Primarily, I’m just compelled to share my story for educational purposes. I am motivated to share my story at all times.
