Back in the 1980's Thrasher Magazine was one of a few publications that featured interviews with Punk & Metal bands. Today's teens & 20 somethings are so lucky, we didn't have the internet back then nor was Alternative rock, Punk, Metal, Goth & Industrial getting covered by the mainstream media like it is today.

Thurston’s interview was recorded when he played the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia on 30 Aug 2011. I recognize the stage and venue exterior. I was at that show and got to meet Thurston. This was a few weeks before it was announced that SY (and Thurston & Kim) were splitting up.
