Hi Tom, I imagine working off the ranks is an easier option, as you don’t have to be actively cruising around looking for fares. Also the people arriving at train stations and staying at hotels are probably less familiar with London, and so want to go to easy to get to places- unaware how easily they could get there by other means. I noticed that you did this challenge in the day time, I wonder if ranks would work as effectively at night, when you usually work.

I don't think I've driven down the Old Kent Road in 25 years. I was kind of hoping you'd end up there so I could see how it's changed. I used to drive around town a lot (work related) but I don't now and when I watch your videos I'm always amazed how much the road layouts have changed in the last 10-15 years.

@@TomtheTaxiDriver if you do it again go twice round the oroginal board. In the scouts in the 90s and 2000s we did Monopoly runs. So I know the fun of getting to Old Kent road on public transport. But keep up the good videos since I do like to know what is going on up London. Me being a commercial vehicle driver I have to avoid Rotherhithe Tunnel 2 ton limit and the Royal Parks roads since commercial vehicles are not allowed. So Sat Navs are always wrong for me in certain parts of London. 🤣😃
