In the book/graphic novel Cher & Risa were in the Same situation as Sam and Mon! Cher was super rich, when her family didn’t approve/accept their relationship Cher gave up everything because that’s how much she truly loves Risa. Also she doesn’t dislike Sam, she just likes teasing and annoying her. Also. In the novel it was Kirk, who told the grandmother, not Nita.

@@miska_tul_mumu in the novel sam and mon go on a break for two month but in that time kirk tries to force himself on sam so the grandma gets pissed and slaps him, calls off the engagement and let's sam and mon date but not in public, which means they can't get married but don't worry, the ending of the show will be different, they'll get married (besides the shows didn't write kirk to be as bad as in the novel, in the novel he also had another woman)

I totally agree with what you said about Mon, like she needs to be stronger for them to work this out bc Sam is really out there trying to beat all odds and if she has no support coming from the person she is fighting for then I don't think she would have enough courage to go against her grandma's wishes. Also I understand Mon too since Sam has already has her life established why she's still trying to build hers and all.

Yeah...It's frustrating because I can understand Mon's side as well, but if she doesn't start growing a thicker skin and believe in herself then she's never going to be able to be all in with their relationship.

2 part being a sweetest episode and then 2 more part being most depressing episode... Mon being too weak, she must stand up for her love not just always run away. And for Sam, i like her character development, from someone who didn't know express her feeling, now she is being so sweet, i love it when her wish is just what Mon want being come true 🥰. And when she apologize for not being with Mon when old granny come, because she know the pressure Mon has..

In a reality, she and becky had a misundertanding before the shoot of this scene, they were not talking for 3 days. Freen was the one sulking and Becky doesn’t know how to approach her. In the end, they get through and came out stronger than before❤ they made up during the shoot of the beach scene also❤

In Real Life freenbeck had a LQ they didn't talk for 3 days, and that scene when they were on the beach was the only time they greeted each other, so the beach scene was memorable for them:)

according to interfans, the actress playing Tee didn't sign an exclusive contract (or something of the sort) with idolfactory, so they had to cut her scenes... which could explain why they repeated that last part of epi 9 - they had to fill the gap left by all the cuts and why we're not getting TeexYuki

Technically it’s implied though. They are literally together every time we see them. Because if they wanted to they could have cut out all the scenes with them being near or sitting next to each other looking like a couple. I do wish we could could have more scenes with them, but I’ll take what I can get.

I've watched at least 4-5 reactors for this episode and not one was able to recognize Khun Neung at all before Sam mentioned who she was. 😭 Meanwhile, while enjoying the episodes, I was also wondering when we were going to see her again in the show since she's the only sister Sam has left 😭😭 + the actress is also quite pretty to just forget. But it's okay we all have different facial recognitions.

mon and grandma's scene is actually one of my favorites and i kinda understand why mon had to go home after that. i talked about it more detailed on tumblr but the way the grandma talked to her so condescendingly, picking apart every insecurity she had from her family and life status, her relationship with kirk and nop, her sexuality and her love for sam. even if i was in that situation, i would've probably broke too. mon was from a very loving family so to be able to hear words so brutal must've traumatized her. i feel like if she stayed at sam's place, she would've probably lost her mind replaying that whole encounter so i get why she had to run home for comfort. you kinda saw it in her whole demeanor at home too. when she was talking to nop, she can't even have proper coherent thoughts and was holding it in. then when sam came, she was avoiding looking at her and staring far trying to hold the emotions in, not wanting to break but when sam hugged her, she just lost it and just bawled herself crying and broke down. i think that's also why she didn't answer her calls at first. just love how that scene ended and turned out. mon assuring sam it's not her fault and sam assuring mon she'll protect her :") three of my favorite scenes are from this ep actually (the proposal, mon and grandma's scene and the garden scene)

And in the novel the grandma says more hurtful words to Mon damaging her self confidence and take note she only graduated from university to face all of this she doesn't even have the time to enjoy her first work. In reality there is someone who can face it head on but also there is also people who can't, who is not strong enough to handle it that's more relatable than other drama and the author said that Mon for having a simple and happy family didn't know how to handle this kind of pressure. But in the next episode even Sam will feel this pressure more so expect another sad moments next week.

@Saranggola You totally get it! Mon comes from a loving, supportive, understanding environment. She had only just begun to think about what Sam´s upbringing and life was like then Grandma came crashing in! Her attitude was like; i do not care how loving you are, how much love you have for my Granddaughter, "its bs" love between women isn´t even "real love". Even with all that, GrandMa still complemented Mon which she does not do and she could feel Mon´s authenticity. Love wins even when the heart is closed, it can still be felt.Love is a subtle energy. Mon has not yet come into her full power, she does not realize the power that she has, NOT YET!(this usually happens around 27 with saturn return) She changed Sam. She reminded her who she really was and that she was worthy of love. No matter what Sam did, Mon refused to see her as loveless/heartless/brutal and Sam showed up for Mon and herself as her true self. I feel that these next episodes Mon will come to realize more of what her power is and the truth of her value. She has literally loved Sam all her life since she was in 4th grade and never let herself realize that it was romantic love because of the class difference,so she called her IDOL. On another note, Lowkey..... I feel the parents must suspect that they are dating........ and are waiting for them to say something. Sam was literally coming apart emotionally in front of Mon´s mom and Dad. Even without fully knowing or even asking what/how they argued..........they just stepped in and supported them both. This space of love is Mon´s standard thank You for seing Mon´s POV and your compassion. Om namah shivayah, we bless your existence

@@uzomarose to be honest i personally relate to sam a lot emotionally so watching gap, i really wanted loved studying mon's character more deeply. i see a lot of people trying to understand sam because of how broken she is and i appreciate that because i lack that but people can brutal towards mon's wrong moves coz she's from a good life. idk, tbh i like how consistent the characters are in the series while also maturing. like freen said in interviews, every character made decisions with reasons and i kinda see that. obv most of it can be to move plot but i do think they were decisions that made sense for the characters.

Funny fact about the first scene of this episode: Freen and Becky actually had a small fight before the shooting and didn't speak to each other for several days. The scene where Sam is alone on the beach and Mon says "good morning my sweetheart" to her was the first time they'd spoken since their fight. For me it makes the scene all the more sweeter to watch

I think K' Nueng will come in the next episode (or the last episode) as well. Since K' Sam will get to the point where she cannot bear it anymore, so she asked her sister (the one who experienced rebelling the grandmom) for help. I literally cried when Sam said sorry to Mon. She had nothing for herself before and sacrificed herself to her grandmother (in many ways). While Sam seems strong, she is weak, like she said to Mon’s mom that she is always afraid and cowardice. She never opposes her grandmother even once in her life. Now, Sam got Mon and she might be the only thing that she feels it is hers to love and care for, however, she cannot do it properly because it is her grandmother.

I got where the disappointment with Mon is but the Grandma strike at Mon's weakness. Her insecurities with the gap between her and Sam, her guilt for betraying Kirk because of her relationship with Sam and we must also remember that she also question before the love between woman using it to deny her feelings for Sam. Grandma just strike her insecurities, doubt and guilt.

You have to take culture in consideration. On Thailand, they have this huge respect for the oldest, and you have to listen them. Mon walked away bc after the grandmother came, there was no way she could stay there. Sam say that is her house too (Mon´s house), but Sam respond to grandmother and cares about her. I would have left the house too, and later i would sit down with Sam to talk.

I understand that respecting the Grandmother because of her age and status has to be a consideration in regards to the culture, but I still don't think it was very mature for someone who is engaged to leave the house without sending a text to her fiancée that she needed to go home. Not only that, she also ignored her fiancée's calls until said fiancée had to seek her out because she didn't know what was happening. I understand Mon needing time away, but she went about it the wrong way.
