This logo history is _BRILLIANT!_ THX has a fantastic and pretty interesting collection of trailers, especially with its soundtrack, the Deep Note, which is a pretty epic sound and it's amazing to see it's still being used since its introduction when THX was founded, in 1983! Plus, there are fantastically done animations in their trailers such as: 2:12, 5:04, 7:23, 9:19 (despite my fear of storms), 13:43, 14:24, 15:32, 16:02 (too bad it wasn't used since it had a great potential), 16:38, 17:29, and especially 18:08, which arguably has _the greatest animation_ out of all the trailers from THX, plus Tex the Robot making a comeback. It's also interesting how THX liked the parody from the Simpsons (4:12) so much they turned it into an actual trailer.

What I think it is stand for is "Theater, Home, X-perience" THX. But Thx is actually stand for "Thanks".

THX was the inspiration from George Lucas’ first movie THX1138 (1971) and the name stuck for great and insane audio hence “the audience is listening”
