Thanks for the awesome guide, the build and tips you shared were immensely helpful! Only thing I did differently was the tutorial Varg fight. The Soulsborne/ Sekiro vet in me just HAD to parry him to death instead of doing your safer strat. Died about 10 times but it was worth it 😅

Haha same here. After the 5th or 6th try his attacks were very easy to parry. Almost got him flawless but had to use a potion when he had a sliver of health left. Excellent guide as always from the absolute legend that is Optinoob. 🤙

Sorry mate, my intention wasnt too ;)! I actually platinumed the game back to back on another account in that 9 hours xD. I considered memorising everything and then going all in, but just didnt have the patience to do this one another 3 or so times just to get a good time on the leaderboard. So decided to just memorise an area at a time, then switch to my recording account, record the area, then switch back and so on. Thats a very good time though considering the game had only just released and info was scarce

I've watched this video for the last 3 days...i was watching as i played so i messed up using the alchemy drops everywhere EXCEPT the long lasting potions infinite memory shards so had to run all over finding elite enemies..but i finally got them and am currently farming shards...great video (first 45 minutes,)..thanks..

I am stuck with the " YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!" achievement for the plat, it;s been days. and when I hear ppl get it in 8 and like this video 3Hrs !!!! - I just want retire from trophy hunting, good video!

Here’s my strategy. It’s similar to his but I’ll go into detail. You only attack when he throws his jumping overhead attacks. There’s three variations, but you only want to capitalise on two of them. There’s the high jump which is the easiest to distinguish and then there’s a lower jump where he’ll still ultimately end up in the same position as the high jump, then there’s the overhead attack where he doesn’t jump and can chain it in a combo. For the last one ignore it and keep running around him at a decent distance. Dont be too far or he’ll sprint at you and increase the chance of you getting hit, and obviously don’t be too close or he’s less likely to throw the overheads. When he throws the two overhead variations that you want to capitalise on, hit him twice and instantly hit him with a claw attack, so two sword, 1 claw. Then dodge and sprint straight away. I hope this helps and makes sense. I did it in around 3-4 tries after doing this method. And most of all BE PATIENT and dont take risks! Good luck

I had tried all skills, and the build used here is the easiest to cheese with and takes less practice. I tried the block skill, seems cool at first, but you soon see where it fails

Legendary!! Just beat tutorial Varg on my 5th try using your strat 🎉, last trophy done & plat #43~! Thanks for the Legendary guides! Now, tougher than any trophy.. i must decide which game is next. 😢😅 I've narrowed it down to ... 5-10 😅 Valkyrie Elysium (just bought for $23) Sundered Grime (15% through) Lords of the Fallen (runs 4 n 5 to get all armor/weps n quests that were glitched) Sea of Stars Ff5 Nioh 2 (30%) + all 3 dlc... Kingdoms of Amalar Rereckoning Nier Replicant ... Ugh!! + so many games im 1-2 trophies from 100% on (usually an rng drop or a new run/boss rush). Yea 😊

I'm 1 trophy away and it is the one for beating Varg in the tutorial. 1 word of advice, do this early as you'll get used to having all the abilities playing the game ans coming back to this feels really tough lol you could argue you might have a better grasp of the mechanics but thats not the case for me lol I wish this guide was up before i went for it but never mind

This game has 2 difficulty mode basicly, saber and parry, if you play with saber all the time to inflict damage game becomes considerably diffucult, but if you just stand still focus on enemy attacks and only parry to deal damage game kinda becomes easier, i got max achievements in 15 hours now gonna play steelrising

i did the suicide thing, game crashed at 1.5M. on resume souls nowhere to found. so i re do the process. level up, recall. funny is upon returning to safe zone my lost soul returned, now i got 25M. lol.

Anyone else having issues getting the rosemary at 33:45. I have spent a good 30 minutes repeating this with no luck. The enemy either drops nothing or just a knife shard. I have over 5k memories now and have broken a ton of barrels at least..

Yea its just a matter of RNG mate, my longest try took me about 15 mins, so you must off had it pretty bad to take 40 mins. My best try was the 3rd kill I think xD. I did get Oregano once though from my first Handaxe guy ;). In this walkthrough, I had to farm Oregano for 10 mins as well when the time comes, you will see later and all will be explained. Though hopefully you have better luck with Oregano and get it without farming

I'm now going through a backlog of games that I remember watching your guides for to give you comments. Gotta fulfill my quasi everyday comments quota :P. I can make myself look like I've been here for a long time :P. Tho, I have lol.. just not actively commenting :P. I have nothing better to do than spam your comment box lol. You prob think I'm crazy 😁. My backlog game comment isn't much. Just 2 lol. So don't get your hopes up :P. I did this whole game myself. However, I remember looking up your strat for the tutorial boss trophy. At the time, my controller was starting to drift so everything was way harder for me lol. I tried to replicate what you did but I'm dumb and couldn't do it for some reason lol. I was drifting lol. Or at least that's my excuse :P. I also like to play aggressively. The longer it takes, the more mistakes I make. In the end, I forced myself to learn his moveset and ended up parrying... With a drifting controller. It was awful. I do not recommend. I like to make things harder for myself than what needs to be. Don't ever do the tutorial boss with a drifting controller. It's just unfun. Heck, the whole tutorial boss trophy was just unfun. I would just avoid this game all together lol. But... if you must play this game for some unknown reason follow this guide!! There. My Opti's guide shilling is now fulfilled :P. I did end up buying a new controller like 2 months later 😂. You would think I would buy one immediately after how annoyed I felt with this tutorial boss and my drifting. Even after I bought a new one, I kept using my drifting one bc I'm stupid and like to make games more difficult with pointless stick drift 😂. It was up till recently that I had to retire it completely bc I couldn't even do basic things like scroll through menus anymore. Now I can't use stick drift as an excuse for my lack of skills 😂.
