Great shots, great review! But regarding what you said about Sony colors - it depends on particular sony sensor. Early models - have not so great colors. a7iii/a7c are known to have the most awful colors, even in raw files. I couldn't believe that colors in raw can be bad untill I bought a7iii... Then I realized that sony did something so wrong that almost non of the available color profiles for raw->jpeg conversion(Adobe, capture one, RNI labs) could give pleasing colors for starting point of raw editing. Especially in the skin tones a7iii has all sorts of artifacts: orange spots around eyes, noses, lips; earthy/muddy skintones in general. People tend to look like clay figures. But in a7iv/a7cii 33mpx sensor Sony did a good job correcting those problems.

Great candid images - especially the trip to the San Luis Valley. Did you have any challenges finding clear focus with the a7rv? Was the focus peaking sufficient?

Thank you! And not at all! I assigned a button to the a7RV to zoom in digitally to see my focus before taking the photo so I nailed it every time considering my subjects were still.

So you can't interchange between body if you get any other mount besides m mount? Just wondering

Unfortunately not with the other mount. the M mount is more universal with other mirrorless cameras so that’s why it’s capable to do with adapters.

fuji is for SOOC no edit, especially the classic negative, pacific blue and portra 400,but sony is better in image quality and lowlight
