Hashimotos is a hypothyroidism autoimmune disease. I am unfortunately diagnosed with this.

So Hashimotos is hypo but Myxedema Coma is LIFE THREATENING decrease temp. Decrease pulse, decrease RR, decrease BP, constipation. Everything is slowing down. Lab finding are hypoglycemia which is also life threatening (loss of consciousness), hypoxemia, hyponatremia, prolong QT wave…

During nursing school, I listened to your lectures (along with LevelUpRN) and you ladies were always SPOT ON for exam questions and material. ***To other students: I have a touch of ADHD and find it hard to sit still for a long time and read. Listening to these videos while on a walk or in the car was tremendous in my learning. I'm a single mom of 3 and just graduated with a 3.85 for BSN. I take my NCLEX in 11 days and am using your videos again to review. You are amazing! Straight to the point and no nonsense.
