Hey just a small anatomical correction. The Adam's Apple is actually located on the thyroid cartilage (the laryngeal prominence). The Adam's Apple labelled in the video is actually the cricoid cartilage. Thank you for all your videos.

Correction. The thyroid hormones are not lipid soluble due to their phenol hydroxide group being acidic as a result from iodine. Human cells have instead developed specific iodothyronine transporters at their cell membranes. This is one of very few examples of a hormone not being able to pass the cell membranes.
