@@Naz-r9u Yes there was anxiety and stress due to the pressure created on Nerves by the Thyroid Nodule. For me Microwave Ablation (MWA) was done not RFA on November last week. After the MWA treatment the pressure has reduced and my condition is better now.

@@prashantshinde4291 I am going to have hemi thyroidectomy soon...my endocrinologist said surgery is best then RFA and my parents trusting them not focusing on RFA. I don't know what to do? I'm afraid of surgery...my doctors prefer only surgery even thou my nodule is Benin. 4.5cm nodule...causing anxiety n pressure symptoms...tiredness

@user-fs6gd1qx6c of course Mr. Shinde has kindly shared his experience with anxiety. Just adding medical knowledge to it. Anxiety is a known symptom or presentation of these nodules. If u see any large study, anxiety scores have always been high and nearly disappeared Post ablation.

Study reveals mild enlargement of left lobe of thyroid gland. Two well-defined echogenic solid nodules measuring 58 x 40 mm and 46 x 35 mm are seen in the left lobe of thyroid gland, the smaller one showing cystic change. No obvious calcification is seen. On color doppler, it shows peripheral vascularity. Multiple similar echogenic solid nodules are seen in the right lobe of thyroid gland, largest measuring approx. 13 x 9 mm. Multiple cystic nodules with thin septations are seen in the right lobe, largest measuring 13 x 5 mm. A nodule with macrocalcification measuring 15 x 8 mm is seen in the right lobe. Another cystic nodule with peripheral calcifications measuring 8 x 8 mm is seen in the isthmus. Both sub mandibular and parotid salivary glands are normal. No cyst or mass is seen. Vascularity is within the normal limit. Both the common carotid arteries and bilateral IJV appear normal. No enlarged cervical lymph node is seen. IMPRESSION: TI-RADS 3 NODULES IN THE LEFT LOBE OF THYROID GLAND TI-RADS 1 AND TI-RADS 3 NODULES IN THE RIGHT LOBE OF THYROID GLAND Suggested: FNAC correlation.

Sir, i am from Bangladesh, i have multipole nodules, bothe left and right lobe, FNAC shows total 8 noudles, all are oval, spongform exept one is solid. Doctor from apollo marks it as benign. If i come alone for treatment , is it possible to continue my treatment. The biggest one is 3.1 x 2.5 spongeform, the solid one is small. Please sir give me the advice. My prefarable place is channai, but i can go Mumbai.

Dr sb my patient has gone for hemithyriodectomy on 25/12/23 in govt hospital kashmir (left thyroid nodule whose fnac was follicular neoplasm) and now biopsy report came after 24 day and it's report shows Papillary carcinoma, what should I do, should the patient go for second surgery to remove the remaining half thyroid gland and how much time can we wait. Please Dr. Sb needs your suggestion, please🙏🙏🙏.

Dr. Sb I had also done fnac for right thyroid nodule twice and two times report was BSRTC CAT l.Doctor said it's benign, and doesn't need to remove. Now biopsy report of left thyroid nodule is Papillary carcinoma as mentioned in the previous message, needs your help Dr sb please..

Although depends on various factors, Ideally total thyroid removal by 2nd surgery is better.

In my opinion, should go for total removal and 2nd surgery. But it's not a professional opinion. As i haven't seen the official reports including ultrasound. But a personal one.
