These elevators are in the process of being modernized by Kone. This hotel is formerly the W in Midtown. Unfortunately, we could not get the outside glass elevator.

The name change helps a lot there used to be 3 W hotels in ATL.

I love the new Kone mod very nice, the HCA Hospital in Panama City Florida did the exact same thing with the 3 story Montgomery and they added a 5 story Kone elevator that talks like that, so yes Kone has come a very long way compared to what they used to be like? 🤔

Actually...these were originally installed by Armor - but they were very interesting in that they had LCD floor indicators and they were clearly not mods at the time. I distinctly remember this as I stayed next door with family and tried to ride the glass elevator when I was there. No such luck then either. This is likely their second mod.

These were Westinghouse. The machines were Westinghouse before they got replaced by Kone
