Your knives are sooooo nice and beautiful! They are simply art pieces. It would be wonderful to see how you handcraft them. Thank you in advance!

Fantastic. Always a good day when I see a video by Thys. Thank you so very much for taking the time and being so generous in sharing your experience and knife-making wisdom with us. I've already learned a stack. That rest for grinding is an excellent idea. Might be time to start practicing my free hand grinding. Thanks again Thys and I look forward to many more of your tips and techniques =)

Extremely good info here. I am going to give the knife rest a try. I think this will help out with keeping my grinds symmetric . Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos. If you are ever at the Blade show in Atlanta id love to drop by to say Hello .

This was great Thys!! Really well presented and filmed. Love that rest setup with the little height block off to the side, i'll definitely have to try that in the futute. Can I request a hand rubbed satin video in the future? I'm always interested in other makers methods to achieving them, as I still struggle getting the best results I can each time. I own one of your knives and the satin is flawless. I'd also be interested in seeing how you polish the swedge/clip while maintaining the satin on the rest of the blade. Thanks again!

Hi Jordan. Thanks for your kind words. I will defiantly make a plan to do a short video on hand satin work. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great video! Very easy to follow and understand what ur doing...I look forward to ur upcoming videos...I'd rather have an informative video than a Grammy award video lol I'm doing my best to learn the art of making slip joint pocket knives so these videos are very much appreciated 👍
