Thyworm, as a first time SSF'er in 3.24 and finding your channel has been a delight. Going SSF has made me love this game all over again. Have a question about Lootfilter, do you have your own or use another? Optimizing Lootfilter seems even more important in SSF.

Thanks so much Verex, I'm happy to hear that. I've been getting a few questions about the loot filter recently and I'll think about how to make that clear in a video. For now, yes, I do have my own loot filter which I make using filter blade. I'm using NeverSink as a base, add custom sounds, change a few colors, and make it stricter every day I play, basically. At first I'm picking up every single unique, but now, I've hidden even single chaos orbs.

I'm not going to share my filter, as that will get you in trouble. I'm hiding way too much for SSF. But I'll make a video about how I deal with loot filters and set it up. I'll think about how to get that info across properly

Singular focus shouldn't stop unique maps from dropping. Unique maps are counted as a unique item, you should be able to drop all unique maps even if the base of that map is not favourited.

Interesting, I thought at least back when this node was introduced, maps like the Cortex wouldn't drop anymore.

@@Thyworm No it has never been the case. That being said elder slayer and conqueror maps become restricted by the base type of the favourited maps. Because elder slayer and conqueror maps are actually technically a map mod if one was to drop and it was not your favourited map in that case you would lose the map.

@joshuaattard8060 yes I understand. I'm trying to do all the due diligence by reading the wiki and checking some other sources, but it is a massive game of course, so I'm sure there are some mistakes left and right. As long as the overall story or strategy remains intact, I'm okay with that and in a next iteration I just correct those errors. I've also remade videos if they were really problematic, so that is always an option.
