34yo here, when I was 13 and heard DJ Tiesto for the first time, I discovered my beloved music genre. THIS was my favourite kind of trance, playing with sounds, every single note or even silence had its own place in whole instrumental piece, which drilled down into deepest part of brain, where consciousness touched each other with subconsciousness. You could just stay away from this material world, floating through dimensions, that kept you out of all these earthly, evanescent problems. I miss those unbelievable sound expieriences. 26.02.2023 and I keep coming back to those spiritual travels.

34 years old myself sir, I discovered Tiesto waiting in line overnight at Best Buy (with a friend who was getting the Wii on it's midnight launch hahaha). We showed up at like 4 or 5pm the day before to get in line, and I got bored. So I went inside to buy a cd, and this was the selection I made haha. Totally random pick, but it changed my life FOREVER.

"A Tear In The Open" is originally a Gaelic folk song called Ailein duinn, first featured as a film score in the movie Rob Roy and afterwards as the well known interpretation by Scottish folk band Capercaillie. On this track the vocals were sampled as a courtesy of Spectrasonics' Vocal Planet. Many more other artists sampled from the same music library to compose their own version of the folk song" -Wikipedia- That's why the vocals stuck to me; heard it in Rob Roy Tiesto in his, for me at least, best periode

They beauty of an artistic expression is to tell a story without words and to invoke a feeling Tiesto has done just that. His craft is NOT ..and I repeat is NOT the stereotypical abused hard bass that may sound eehhh Or whatever may satisfy that instant gratification tug. His craft is complex its the kind that awakens with a raw fierce Passion. I love most of all that he has shared and exposed a part of him with the world for YEARS he has fed our selfish hunger so to speak. How many can say that they have done that consistently. Para todos que aman a tiesto les comento que el tenia trabajando a otros djs para el, tiesto es muy bueno en las mezclas, pero ya cuando fue kuy reconocido solo se dedico a los conciertos, a las giras o tocar en los clubes, me parece que tenia un staff para qie le remixeen las canciones o preparen otros temas para el... Daí sempre tem um que diz que videogame não é cultura, eu conheci essa voz em Tomb Raider Legend, jogo maravilhoso, da icônica Lara Croft, todas as trilhas do game tem um estilo budista, utilizando esses vocais maravilhosos que dão toda a atmosfera do jogo, em termos de trilha sonora eu digo sem medo de errar, foi o melhor TR da franquia. Eu estava desde 2006 querendo saber quem performava essa voz, hoje a tecnologia evoluiu muito, ficou fácil achar, a música tocou no filme ''The Detonator'', o Google fez o resto.
