Beautiful interview -- thank you both so much! What Tia Levings describes is the life I had to eventually fight my way out of, including mental /emotional and sexual abuse from my evangelical pastor father that started in my infancy. I am so thankful to Tia for walking this incredibly hard path, to show so many that it is possible to break free, and to live from the high heart, not the orthodox theology that kills the spirit rather than nurturing it. Well done, Ms Levings, and well done, Mr Schaeffer! You're both on the high road to powerful soul growth, and nothing can stop you now.

I’m listening to the audio book. WOW, I’ve cried, felt heavy- it’s hard to describe all the emotions. So well written, and very well read by Tia. I hate patriarchy and have tried to explain why to many Christians. Left church 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. But I think every woman and especially christian women should read/listen to this.

I am an international citizen living on a beautiful small Eastern Caribbean island. I'm enlightened and intrigued by your videos. Thank you. I Discovered them only yesterday. I have so many questions about who is exactly behind the rise of Trumphism and why sensible, 'good old Christian folks', would follow and appreciate his form of politics? In contemporary Trumpism, red flags that are similar to past political figures and brutal regimes are viciously waving. At first, I was puzzled when he said. 'the next Republican National Congress would be in Venezula', now the penny has dropped. and I smell the correlation. I was also puzzled by Vance's 'cat women, childless women' tirade, now the penny has also dropped. Contemporary civilization needs to look back into the rise and fall of some brutish and violent, racist, inhuman politicians to trace Trumpisim roots. In historical documentation, when such figures rose up in Europe South America and Latin America they were ignored, laughed at and labelled crazy. Fast forward centuries later humanity is living with these tyrants' legacy. Should good people continue to play the part of 'the silence of the lamb', in the rise of Trumpism, there is the reality that the 21st-century world will experience a realism far more brutish and nasty, than that of the past.
