Hi Hegamurl, we have TIA V15 on the note book, and seems one of our S7 1200 PLC's has V13, so they are incompatable and won't work together, how to update the V13 PLC to work with V15 TIA please ?

Hi Quolls! That seems strange... it should always be possible to upload a project with a newer TIA version. In any case: Resetting the PLC to factory default will delete all user data/the program you have downloaded from it. Afterwards you will be able to download a new program of any version on it... your old program will be lost though. You could also just download TIA Portal V13 and install it on the same PC as the V15. Simply by having it installed, you increase the compatability with older projects. V15 can open V13 projects without upgrading them to V15 if you have V13 installed on the same machine (even without V13 license). @@hegamurl7434 Thank you so much, V15 is in compatable with V13 and we can not upload the master copy program from the PLC. I will download V13 try to upload the master copy program on the PLC, as we need to keep the V13 copy and try to upgrade to V15. Thank you from Australia.

i need help with recovery of a program in the cpu. i lost the program in tia portal as my laptop was stolen. the backup on the memorycard was also in the laptop bag. There is a way of uploading to tia portel as new device but my cpu keeps saying incompatible..... TIA 15.1 CPU 1212C FW 4.3.1

Thanks for video. I recently downloaded a program to v13. 00 version comfort HMI from Tia portal v15. TIA automatically downloaded the firmware to V15.0.0. When a program make in latest version of Tia, those Tia new function also downloaded automatically. Thanks for video.

Sorry but a link for FW shows only Firmware Update for CPU 1516-3 PN/DP. Not for all S1500 series...

Under online access you should be able to find your own ethernet adapter (mine is literally the hardware "displaylink network adapter"... of course your hardware will be different)

Hi! I use V14 TIA and I have a S7-1200 plc with firmware version 4.3. My problem is that I can't use this device in V14 because in V14 the latest firmware version is 4.2. I can't connect to this device in TIA V14 so i can't downgrade the device to 4.2. Thank you in advance!
