Same here, but most dorms in my country look like they stopped in time 30 years ago. They’re all so ugly and small. Now because of the situation with immigrants most of them are full and students with special needs can’t even get a place.

That little window seat would have been my coffee drinking spot. It's a nice room but being right next to the stairs and across the elevator wood be too noisy for me. I wonder if the room next to the bathroom hears flushing day and night. 😅

Hey there! Yale College grad here. Fun to see your room! Things on campus really have changed, and then again, not really. When you showed Harkness Tower at about 10:00, that reminded me of living near the bells in Branford College. I lived in Vanderbilt on Old Campus my freshman year and the signs telling people to clean the bathroom could easily be the exact same signs that were there when I was there. Lol have fun. Yale is fantastic. 💙💙

What a gorgeous building and spacious room. Such character! Have you tried moving your dresser to where you fridge and then placing the fridge on top of it? It'll make more room for food storage on top of the dresser. And your rug would look fabulous in your window nook

Wow, that's about 3 times the size of my little room at uni in wales and mine was not especially tiny. I opted for shared bathroom and thus more space. They had ensuite rooms but they were tiny.

Plus this is SUPER nice for a college. I go to a public university and I had a tiny room (about half the size of this) with someone I didn’t like and had to share a bathroom with everyone else on my floor. I hated it and I hate that it’s the normal 👍🏻

I went to uni in Edinburgh and in student accommodation we each had a private bedroom but shared 1.5 bathrooms between 5 people 🤷‍♀️ think it depends on your uni

The university of Colorado Colorado Springs has a kitchen dining room living room bedroom the dorm is big but lacking a sink in the kitchen and refrigerator the stove I would expect more from Yale..

Часто для учёбы не только крошечный столик с ноутбуком и пара тетрадей нужны, но и многое другое. Гитары - виолончели, например, пианино. Есть электроинструенты с наушниками, сутки напролёт занимайся - никто не услышит, никому не мешает. Если математикой - филологией можно сутками заниматься, это никому не мешает, то музыканты и художники тоже имеют право полноценно заниматься. У художников главное, краски без запаха, чтоб не пахло ничем. Ни лаком, ни ацетоном. Главное, что для холстов и контрабасов место нужно )))
