Honestly, given the playfulness and high level of interaction, and that wonderful price-to-piece ratio, this may just be my favorite Lego Christmas set!

Yup! 100% buying this for this year's Christmas. I love the theme, I have a bunch of sets already and this looks just fantastic! I originally wasn't completely sold on the design but seeing the functions it just blew my mind. Lego absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one.

I think some of the previous sets in this theme were much better, or at least were much more to my taste. And the construction of the balloon seems disappointing, it just doesn't seem very Lego.

I’ve got the Toy Shop (which I think is technically the first Winter Village-style set before it became its own theme and was part of Creator) and just last week picked up last year’s Alpine Lodge as my second Winter Village set and the progression in terms of building techniques and level of detail is astounding. Was an absolute joy to put together and will absolutely become another cornerstone of my yearly Christmas diorama. This post office looks amazing but weirdly doesn’t fit the “vibe” I tend to go for when setting up my display. Those minifigs are extremely tempting though, I may have to get this set next year as a parts pack as there are a lot of useful looking parts and the hot air balloon would be a great addition on its own. That fancy chair has to be the best part for me, I recently built one for a MOC I’ve been working on and I wish I’d seen it before settling on a less study design. I will absolutely be stealing that chair build for future MOCs.

Last year I got back into Lego with the winter village Alpine Lodge set recommended by Tiago's video 12 months ago. It was so much fun, I am so glad I made the purchase. This set looks equally fun and I will buy this full price again. For anyone hesitant about buying a lego set or getting into lego, these are the perfect sets to give you easy and harder builds, lots of minifigs, lots of colors, and you can display this for the holidays. The piece count is perfect for a build that looks great displayed but doesn't take days to make. I am so excited for this!

Reminds me of the Winter Village post office many years ago, the sending side of the equation. This is a fine addition but not as good as the two other fantasy sets, Santa’s workshop and the gingerbread house, which are two of my all-time favorite Lego sets.

The mail sorter has a red and green light on the front, and the lever leans towards the light on that side. AND the wagons are color coded too. Red for "Naughty" and Green for "Nice" And in every scene you used the sorter, the wagons were on the WRONG side, opposite their respective colors. And it drove me absolutely crazy

When the images for this came out a week or so ago I was very underwhelmed and most of the commenters were in agreement. That being said, I was very curious to see Tiago's review because he is normally on point and calls things as he sees them. In 8 minutes, he swung me from 'absolutely not buying' to 100% buying lol. Looking forward to building this with my boys.
