Jaws isn't even close to my favorite IP to get this type of set, but this is by far the most tempting one of these so far. The price seems reasonable, the fact that you have the option to remove the boat and shark from the base is fantastic, and the medium of water actually makes the display base feel necessary for creating a sense of immersion. For most of these sets the display base feels like a waste of parts, but it actually makes sense here.

Just watched another review of this set from another big creator. It was pretty clear they knew little on the source material and that came across when they were stuck for words. With that aside, this review is simply leagues better in terms of production quality and knowledge of parts, and the attention to detail. Great job Tiago! I’m really looking forward to this set, the boat looks fantastic.

Bought this set 2 weeks ago and finished building it 2 days ago. I did it together with my 4 year old who likes helping out. He really loved it because kids like boats..and sharks.. If you're on the fence of this set, it is a really fun build. I don't like lego sets that are very repetitive (colosseum, eiffel tower etc.) for me it is important that the experience overall feels non repetitive nad that's what this set definitively achieved. I also like its overall design, since its "long" it fits in many spaces.

I have never had an interest in Lego (or the film "Jaws") and the only Lego bricks I've stepped on belonged to friends (when I was a kid) or the children of friends. But I live in an apartment now, cannot mess around with lawn mowers & weed whackers, and my sister got me this for Christmas. I had much fun putting it together, in about 3 days, and have since enjoyed watching videos about it on You Tube. I'm thinking of looking for some tiny springs to attach to the rigging cords, just to add a little bit of tension without bending the mast. The headrest of the fishing chair is the same piece as Hooper's duffle bag, just a little lighter, so I used the duffle bag as the headrest for some contrast, and I pretend the headrest is more faded by the Sun. There are lots of accessories for the figures to hold and lots of places to mount the guys, as well as move around some of the items on the deck. Someone who does stop-motion Lego films should have a field day with this!

I love that you showed the 3 dioramas from Steven Spielberg. It is my dream to do the same. I had the Jurassic Park, I just recently bought the Indiana Jones before it retired, and hopefully from Christmas I can get the Jaws one. Then I only need to find a place to display them.

I m fans of JAWs, and i bought this model and built it, this set entertained me so much, but it has some shortcomings, as you said, the strings did bother me too. And the chain doesn’t attach the boom and mast very well, it easily drops off. Besides, the cabin is cramped and hard to put the mini figures inside.

When I saw the white mast I immediately got excited as I initially thought we were getting LEGO’s dedicated mast element recoloured in white and I’m currently building something that would greatly benefit from such a recolour, though looking at how it’s built it’s clearly for the best as the one-piece mast would not have been movie-accurate. Give us more dedicated boat parts, LEGO, the Pirates fans are starving.

I value my neck a lot more than one hundred and fifty bucks, chief. I'll buy this set for 150, but I'll build it, and display it, for ten. I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates - there's just too many captains on this island. $10 for me to build it, by myself. For that you get the head, the tail, the minifigs - the whole damn thing.

Tiago, achas que existe alguma possibilidade da Lego lançar mais sets baseados em estádios pertencentes a times específicos de futebol, ou até mesmo playsets como o antigo Lego Soccer de 2006? Acho que há um enorme mercado para isso, especialmente se lançarem algo mais genérico ao invés de somente replicar estádios como o Bernabeu, Trafford e Camp Nou. Uma coleção de playsets para a Copa de 2026 iria ser perfeito, na minha opinião. Um abraço do Brasil!

Creator 3in1 have evolved massively. The shark (Deep Sea Creatures) was already pretty good, actually (and with literally hundreds of alternative builds on Rebrickable). But more recent animals in Creator 3in1 are just stellar sets: the Majestic Tiger, the Safari Animals (giraffe) and the Forest Animals (fox) really hit it out of the park.

There's a lot of negative stigma around sharks, and while these movies seem like they add onto it, I feel like they also don't, as it provides moments of curiosity for people to look into shark behavior, and to discover that they're not senseless man-eaters but just silly dumb water puppies.
