In pit stops, you can mash X, triangle and square together with your thumb when you stop. Saves a lot, seeing how it's gone so far for you!

Ben if you don't renew your contract or apply for other teams at the end of the season you can get trials with bigger teams. I got Ferrari this way after season 1. Save it before you hit end of season so you can go back in if you don't like the teams that are on offer.

The painful thing about the CE career modes, is that only Aguri have interest left most of the time at season beginning, if you don't renew with your current team and don't be a world beater. Even if you well outperformed the car like you had done. Keep it up, look forward to S2!

Ben, i don't know if you know this, but you can use the right analog stick as the throttle\brake. you push it up and you accelerate. you pull it back to brake

Remember you can change mid-season. Often (on the PS2 version admittedly) I've had to start Season 2 with Super Aguri but move to Toyota or Williams or Red Bull well before the halfway point of the season.

Ben if you're still using the Aftershock PS3 controller, the triggers can be a bit useless after a bit of use. Try and grab a decent used PS3 controller and some trigger extensions and you'll probably get a bit more control

I remember playing this game. And there is a really wierd thing happens to 2 out of 3 races. While in close slipstream close before the overtake, car in front of me suffers enginefailure. When this happens, the car brakes immediatly, no chance to avoid.

Hey Ben just so you know, I tried using the PS4 controller with this game and it works fine apart from one thing: no acceleration control (so you're either fully accelerating or you're not at all), same with brakes

PS4 controller will work but the R2 and L2 won't work the way they should on a PS3 but I believe the throttle and brake is mapped to the X and Square button so you maybe fine... Just make sure you plug it in with the USB cable for it to work.

offers are random as far as the different levels of teams (top, mid, backmarker) you have to choose wisely and decisively and at the right time because I applied for Renault and McLaren in season 1 and they didn't offer me anything in season 2. Ferrari did though.. (big grin insert)

Did you play this season on easy or medium difficulty? Because I wouldn't recommend going straight from easy to hard. On medium it's hard enough to get to a decent team in the first season.

I was playing this game untill recently in my psp system.Just before finishing my first season with toro rosso,my team offered my a contract renewal due to the fact that i came third in the drivers championship.After the season finale and having accepted the new contract i advanced time to the new season and the game wont allow me to advance time because it tells me that i need to be recruited by one team.The problem is that i have already a contract with toro rosso thus i am not able to apply for another team.Any ideas guys?
