The reason damage was off is because if you play another gamemode (ie. Multiplayer, Quick race, or perhaps even time trial) and turn damage off the game will automatically set the damage to off in all gamemodes until you turn it back on again. Very frustrating glitch that has also impacted my career mode

Same. I participated in a career mode race the other day and my damage setting went from simulation to off. There’s some sort of glitch that causes it. For my race no one crashed so it didn’t really matter but for Ben it cost him a possible P6.

I had the no damage bug as well. I'm pretty sure I just managed to turn it back on though during the settings out of session. Anyway, the AI spinning and crashing in wet conditions was hilarious. I absolutely love how they make mistakes now!

An added problem I have with Claire in this game is that if I DNF by engine failure, she'll ask about that at the next GP. Ask about it after the race, Claire. Come on. Not after FP1 the next race where you suddenly ask about 'bad luck', but are referring to the previous race. ESPECIALLY do not ask me after QUALIFYING about what caused the engine failure at the previous GP. That's just dumb.

It seems like there are two yellow flags ingame: the first yellow flag, or what I like to call the "Multiplayer Yellow", is for cars that are moving slowly or have stopped, which you usually see when someone bins it online. This flag is basically a white flag, but Codies probably didnt' want to confuse casual players with a dozen different flags. That, and it's probably more work than they feel they need to put in. The second is a proper yellow, which comes out when the game fully registers an incident or retirement. The overtake here, and the overtakes at Spa were both Multiplayer Yellows, and as such, dont' follow the full caution regulations.

I don't think damage off possibly made a big difference. If there was damage on, there would have been safety car for sure. The only thing that would have changed the positions is if the AI cars came in for Inter's on the safety car laps.

Had amazing luck on the Dutch Grand Prix yesterday... qualified P17, few dive bombs later and I was at P12 but clearly holding up a queue of traffic behind... got a safety car halfway through and I seemed to be the only one that pitted so I ended up holding off Norris for P1, possibly the best luck I've had in a race to date lol

The bug at 19:56, I've had this happen aswell. I'm probably wrong on this, but it could potentially be Multiplayer related. Prior to the My Team race I did with the wrong settings, I was trying to get into a multiplayer lobby but was never able to do so successfully. Maybe something is going wrong in the settings there in connection with multiplayer? Could also be track related though, as the race where I spotted the wrong settings was also Zandvoort.

Practically any setting, and I've had it happen in-between race weekends on career/my team, at multiple different tracks. It totally killed the game for me, having to check the settings before entering any race weekend.

There is a glitch that if you race in any form of races without damage or any other changes in the simulation settings it will still have those settings in career mode, so you now need to change it manually. That glitch is soooooo annoying!

Just bought this game and its my first f1 game. Although ive played gt sport and project cars using a wheel and pedals i find this game more difficult. its so quick with the downshifts i either go down too many or not enough. Im on difficulty 75 but im thinking 80 by tomorrow then go from there to gradually up this. Either way im having fun learning some of these tracks which are new to me

Car damage is off because of multiplayer, game sets settings from there

The damage glitch can be fixed by starting a session in grand prix mode, and setting it with your career mode settings. Dont think you need to do the race but its probably safest
