Williams FW18: The car that made Damon Hill the world champion in 1996. Teammate Jacques Villeneuve almost won his F1 debut in Australia that year, but slowed toward the end of the race after an oil leak. Renault RS01: First turbocharged F1 car, used from 1977-79. Hugely unreliable, but paved the way for the turbo era. Williams FW06: The first car built by Williams, raced by Alan Jones in 1978. Lotus 72E: Final evolution of this classic design, this variant was raced from 1973-75. Gave the legendary Ronnie Peterson seven of his ten wins. Honda RA272: First Japanese car to win an F1 race (Mexico in 1965). Lotus 49C: Last evolution of the 49, winning Monaco in 1970 in the hands of Jochen Rindt before being replaced by the legendary 72. Cooper Climax: Not sure if it was this particular car, but Cooper earned the first win for a mid-engined car in F1 (Stirling Moss, Argentina 1958). Alfa Romeo 158: This car made Nino Farina the first world champion in 1950.

You don't really have to slow down for the pit lane here. For most tracks the game does that for you, and on Canada it resets you. I believe Canada is the only track where you DO have to slow down for the pitlane because you actually lose time if you speed in, unlike Codies' F1 games.

Also, as far as I know, you unlock the two old Williams cars by getting silver medals or better in all of the tracks in Time Trial mode (getting gold medals on all tracks will also unlock Jerez). The Alfa you unlock by winning the WDC, so that one will only be unlocked at the end of Season 4.

A bit late lol, BUT! Formation lap.. Just drive fast'ish, it'll build the temps and formation lap don't give wear on tyre. Weaving is useless for fronts, cornering speed helps..

Tip: If you're not already aware. When you do come back to this game and you go for a trial for Ferrari, If don't get a drive, you can quit without saving and then go back in. you will be able to re-do the trial.

The driver standings at 1:03 reminded me of the 2007 finale in Brazil. Alonso and Hamilton were batteling for the championship, separated through only a few points. Both of them had a horrible race, Räikkönen - who was 8 or 9 points behind the lead - won the Grand Prix and also won the Championship with taking the chance, which wasn´t actually there. :)

There is a problem in the beta of F1 2016. Whenever the Safety Car came out it told you to slow down and maintain the delta speed but the problem is that you have to catch the queue and then slow down. Maybe it's only me that saw this but isn't this a little problem?

I think that the delta of the driver who is catching the queue is different to those who are already following the Safety Car. But that would actually be quite stupid, because why couldn't you just drive in full throttle to the queue then, eh? We gotta wait and see

Flash-224 In F1 2014, whenever you were far behind it said "catch the queue and slow down" while in F1 2016 beta it says "maintain delta speed" even when you're far away. I would like to see that fixed in the final release
