The pitstop efficiency unlock is so good if you consider all pitstops to be an average of 3 seconds. 10% is 0.300 20% is 0.600 30% is 0.900 You almost get a full second per pitstop. The 2.5 pit stop today for instance you had a 10% bonus to that. A 20% would have made that stop 2.24 A 30% would have made that stop 1.96

Well you get a point for every pitstop you make. So in theory you just take your worst circuit, or the first race and just pit every lap. You would gain half the points required, while also unlocking extra engine parts while taking the penalties (knowing you would lose grid positions). Then take another race and do the same to unlock it all of the way (another bad circuit of course). The fact that he retired at Baku meant that he could have spent all of the laps pitting. Sure its not realistic, but if you want to gain the full benefit then why not just make your pit team practice as if it did matter. I think that due to him being in a terrible car means that it is the best thing to do. A top table team might also benefit from the unlocking of extra parts (but then you would run the risk of being behind the whole season). The only time i think it beneficial is if you are in a car that you know you can compete in the latter season with. You then make use of the extra second per pitstop to make sure you jump someone and then you make those lap times count. You have to take into account the potential points and points lost before you commit to doing this in a race.

I'd stick to engine upgrades, since it's by far the greatest weakness of the car. After this is done, you could easily go for he other upgrades, since the chassis is quite ok.

Save up your resource points for next season so you can then do multiple upgrades for season 2, perhaps focus more on the aero side of things

I just got this today The one thing that hit me straight away is the contrast settings. The lights and the darks on the screen seem so extream. I struggle to see some cars in shadows. It's like a cartoon as well. More "cartony" than the old one. Like it's aimed at children or something. It's kind of frustrating

For season 2, Ben, I recommend that you do work on Aerodynamics for the McLaren because this car still sucks in terms of Aerodynamics which is one of the reasons why this car has a lame straight line speed. The max speed in today's GP of your car was 328kph (205 mph) under DRS but the Ferraris, Mercedes and Red Bull hit at least 344 kph (215 mph) under DRS.
