Tiana's Bayou DISASTER! Previews SHUT DOWN?

Today, I returned to get the latest on Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and oh boy are we in for a doozy! CAST PREVIEWS are underway to get this attraction opened to the public on June 28th, and they are A DISASTER! The ride has been SHUT DOWN more than it has operated during these previews! The retirement of Splash Mountain, as she transforms in to Tiana's Bayou Adventure was likely not expected to go this poorly. Is Dr. Facilier working his dark voodoo? While we await the Disneyland version, this one is at the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida.

So what’s causing all the down time? Is it just that they didn’t fix any of the original underlying issues of the mechanics? I really see this just going the way of The Starcruiser. People don’t seem to be impressed from what’s going on in the inside. I honestly hope it does so poorly they just break down and redo Splash. They can build a new Tiana ride somewhere beyond Big Thunder.

Honestly, no one seems to know what's going on. They get the ride running a few minutes, then I hear about animatronics breaking down. SMH!

Logs still flood, these “new” animatronics already breaking to the wet conditions, and many more and new problems that haven’t been fixed, it’s too late to restart now, they would need to destroy both Disneylands and WDWs if they wanted to restart, but this would cause a lot of damage to the flow at Disneyland, with critter county being blocked off for an incredibly long period of time, while they could rebuild Disney worlds with better animatronics, with Iger it seems unlikely he would spend more to rebuild splash and if he did decide to destroy the ride it would result in a new mediocre ride, or maybe he’ll just build a flat bayou section with a bayou adventure that doesn’t have a drop, anything from here will be worser than the last thing Iger does

Not to mention that The Princess and the Frog was set in the Jim Crow segregation era! I mean the first Black Princess isn't from African folklore but gets a recycled German Fairytale and is set in the 1920s Deep South where blacks weren't exactly treated very well (and that's just saying it nicely, having been to the Civil Rights Museum in Atlanta, I can say it was much worse)

Apparently the ride is based not on the movie but on the upcoming Disney Plus series which was supposed to be released 2 years ago. I think many fans are going to be confused! Thank goodness Tokyo Disneyland is not owned by Disney and is keeping Splash Mountain!

The water on the drop is called the "Show Pump" it's just the visual interest of a log flume. The logs are on wheels so it just rolls down the hill. The show pumps don't have to be on for the ride to work, but it is much more visually pleasing for sure

Splash Mountain had a better storytelling, for sure. And more Animatronics. And was more fun, had more color and a real sense of “Adventure”. Princess Tiana deserved a really new ride and not just a sort of makeover. Well, just my opinion. I have 50 years visiting WDW (1974) once a year and I think there are some attractions that You can label as “classics”. Pirates, Mansion, Big Thunder, etc… Splash Mountain, for me, had that status. It was a classic! You can improve, add new effects, do such things, but never get rid of them, for whatever reason. But, again, It’s just an opinion from an old (and I mean it) Disney fan. Have fun, folks! ✌️

I know we’re only “two in” here, but does anybody seeing a pattern developing here??? 1.) That 2-night, 3-day Star Wars Starcruiser Halcyon $6K Rip-Off of a lifetime (3/31/2022-9/30/2023)… 2.) Tianna’s “Bungled Bayou Adventure” & Tianna’s Palace (fka The French Market in New Orleans Square… 💐💐💐🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️💐💐💐 (for the latter 💔💔💔). I don’t know why they don’t just go for broke and simply re-there New Orleans Square as “Tianna’s Kingdom” and just put this beloved theme Land outta its misery once and for all?!?!?! Better YET… Since Pirates 🏴‍☠️ of the Caribbean is in New Orleans Square, why not just re-theme POTC as something with a little more “Emo-Woke-Darkiness” to it?!?!?! I mean, they’re WELL on their way to just alienating anyone who ISN’T Caucasian. Between y’all and ME, they can HAVE it as far as I’M concerned!!! And I checked out your interview with wdw pro and I strongly agreed 👍 💯 with your opinion on Tiana’s bayou adventure. And when I went to Star cruiser I knew Disney is greedy because I will say something pro and con for starcruizer and that’s the storytelling was outstanding and the food is delicious 🤤 but it’s overpriced and my mom says that’s Disney for ya. And when I saw Kung fu panda 4 I said universal is gonna beta Disney film 🎞 in my opinion says.

Starcruiser was an EASY fix: make it the voyage of HAN & LEIA'S HONEYMOON! Include R2, 3P0, Luke, Leia, Han, Lando, Mando, Baby Yoda, and a story of a Darth Vader imposter!

I strongly agreed 👍 💯 on your opinion Bradley personally this attraction should’ve been the muppets take splash mountain similar to the muppets take manhattan. For me I’m a universal fan rather than Disney. I didn’t do nothing wrong. I gave it a thumbs down is because Disney is greedy just like rockstar games and not just Disney is in big trouble for the theme parks but the license to music and video games 🎮 too.

@@followthebradleysfun and Disneyland adventures was infact originally developers by frontier developments and it’s remastered on Xbox one and also Xbox series x and s on Asobo studio. And the incredibles movie video game 🎮 and the rise of the underminer was developed than none other than the developers that made SpongeBob SquarePants battle for bikini bottom and that’s heavy iron studios. And that’s why now epic Mickey is now getting a huge remake and I played it originally on the Wii and and the problem was multi platform and now it’s on not just Nintendo switch it’s on Xbox series x and s too.
