Which might I add is 25 years old meanwhile this was built over the past year, I know people are gonna defend Tiana’s with the it’s not even had a grand opening yet debate but that’s no excuse things like this should have been figured out before people started to ride

To be honest, I know Disney and companies are trying to limit the sensitivity on thrill rides. However, thrill rides just are there just to have fun and get scared. I know I’m not the best person to know if it’s going to succeed or not, but the success doesn’t actually come from the imagineers, media, influencers, or people of interests, it comes from regular guests who is well ready to experience it. I mean look at Rocket Rods, Galaxy Edge, Journey into Your Imagination, and Tiki Room Under New Management, all of these are experiences that even though people say it’s good but it’s the guests experience that speaks the true volume of success or failure. Which even though I may be rooting for Tiana’s ride to be a success but by what I seen they are in over their heads to make this retheme happen.

I route for every attraction to be a success, because that means happy guests! Unfortunately, attempting to retheme a Georgian red clay mountain in to a flat, Louisiana Bayou was never going to work without the right story. They could have used Dr. Facilier to make that story work, but they chose not to. Wish they would have done Tiana better

The guests can also agree with the media, influencers, imagineers, and special people like Pandora, Guardians of the Galaxy mission breakout, Whinnie the Pooh, and monsters Inc. However, there are times when guests don’t really agree with what is going on. To me it seems like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure should be like a slow moving ride like Frozen, living with the land, or the three cabelleros ride. Replacing Splash Mountain with a ride that doesn’t explain who she is or why it’s important is completely idiotic to both the people who know or don’t know. I mean by the looks of it the ride makes it look like an idiotic black girl dora the explorer type of character along with a witch for some reason turns us into frogs and turns us back instantly and a song that needs more celebration type of thing. To be honest, I don’t really see if the guests will actually believe that this retheme would be the best version. Even if it the story is about New Orleans Jazz, I’m a music appreciation kind of person and I can tell you that’s not Jazz.

Just wanted to make a point. There's a ride about a 7 hour drive north from there at Six Flags over Georgia that has been in operation for over 50 years that splash mountain was based in part on. It has animatronics and a storyline that is superior to this attraction in its current form and rideability. Did I mention it's 50+ years old? And it doesn't breakdown 3 times per ride through. Point is Imagineering is in such a pitiful place, that I don't have any hope for Disney's future.

Yes. The ride is currently called Monster Mansion. Originally it was Tales from the Okefenokee. It was also called Monster Plantation in between. It was renamed for cultural sensitivity. Tony Baxter rode it to come up with ideas for Splash Mountain. And has said so publicly. And yes I did work at SFOG in the mid 80s and can attest that everything I shared with you is factual.

All those defects and down time because the Imagineers are doing something that has never been done before. Some errors are ment to happen, it happens all the time (this is gaslighting by the way). We should just appreciate the diverse group of characters behind the scenes that are responsible for giving Disney this marvel of an attraction.

Never been done before??? This is just a RESKIN of a ride that was the number one ride in the world before and has been there for 30 YEARS! No, DISNEY doesn't get a free pass. Maybe what they need are diverse IDEAS?
