Great Review of the Battle Shark bro, I just want to add that, the up/down buttons on the right just as you explained (Track 11:45) , works perfectly for capturing a direct images or video "If you insert a Memory Card, SD card to the drone's slot". But only on 720P Version or the 2.o megapixel, since the 480P or the 0.3 Megapixel version of Battle Shark does not have the SD-Card Slot. When you pres those buttons either up or down, the LED's will flash signifying that it captures images or records a video.

What would you recommend for around 100$? Ive watched so many videos I'm lost and fairly new to drones. I've looked at the xt1, this one in your video, the e58, sg700. I mainly want to take pictures and aerial videos. Something with minimal choppyness in videos

What are the may options listed on the box? How do you know what they mean?

Those are the different configurations or options this drone can be purchased with... I believe the ‘H’ means height-hold (or comes with the altitude hold feature where the drone maintains its height). The ‘W’ I believe means WiFi (meaning it has WiFi streaming & app control features) and the last part should be the camera resolution quality (ie. VGA, HD, etc).

You must manually tilt the camera prior to take-off… Then you can use the photo and video buttons on the controller (or app) to record footage on to the SD card inserted in the drone or by streaming it directly to your phone…

I reviewed the most expensive one (which is the 720p wide-angle camera)… It is probably the best because its wide-angle can capture more scenery in the frame, but some people prefer the non-wide-angle (as they feel it distorts the actual image). It can be a matter of preference, but having the wide-angle will show a wider & more robust scenery...

Depends on what you want to do...FPV get the 720p wide angle, Videos and pics get the standard 720p version. For real FPV replace WiFi camera with 5.8 Ghz analog one...

Unfortunately, the main indicator for low battery is simply seeing if the drone’s lights are flashing… So while the drone is flying, after a while, the lights on the drone will go from being solid to flashing… At that point, it’s letting you know that you have about a couple of minutes to land it (before the battery is too low for it to continue flying)…

The higher the MP (MegaPixels), the higher the quality/resolution. So 2 MP is better than 0.3 MP...

I used the footage from the SD card… Whenever possible, I always use footage saved onto an SD card (and try to avoid WiFi FPV app streaming footage as much as possible)…

You can try to modify it if you’d like, but the camera is built-in and you can purchase either the non-camera version, the 0.3 MP version, or the 2 MP 720p HD version… You can also try to put a mini-FPV camera on it if you’d like…

Well it’s around 15 to 18 minutes… On a couple of occasions I did get around 15 minutes, but that was probably due to the fact that I was flying it very aggressive (while recording)… You can achieve longer flight times if you perform less operations with the drone during flight (such as not recording, not increasing altitude too often, not putting it at the highest rate of speed, not flipping it often, etc.)

@@reignnet7440 Idiot...it is a 2.4 Ghz only Quadcopter...using a 2.4 Ghz repeater makes all the difference for WiFi only, although virtual sticks are HARD to use with no tactile feedback.

Hey I'd like to say this thank you for the videos. But I also want to give you a secret tip one if you ever hit hard look at the propeller nuts and make sure they don't get knocked loose. Second a lot of people don't know this but I'll let you in on a secret you can press the emergency button on take off and it will start the motors. Next thing I'm going to warn everybody that's the Chargers that come with the system or charging the batteries to 4.40 and the hobby charger charges them at 4.20 if you modify the connection which I know how I want put it up here right now I don't want to be responsible anyone getting hurt. But I will say this to sooner or later you're going to forget and plug the USB port backwards and that's going to destroy the USB connector then you're going to have to modify or buy a new batteries please understand this to. There's a gentleman on here somewhere who has modified the older version to fit the 1800 milliamp battery. The only difference are the two batteries is the 900 milliamp cell paralleled 1800 milliamps. I also believe that stamped on there as 385 is a misprint should be 3.7 because every time you go out to look for batteries. Placement that's what you come up with but there are still a few 3.85 on eBay but I think it's still 3 7 anyway have fun be safe and enjoy

At 9:53 in the video I discuss this in detail. Technically you can use it, but you would have to wedge a piece of cardboard (or some other material) to keep it in place since it is thinner than the newer battery. Also, since it is a lower capacity battery compared to the new one, you will not get a longer flight time or full potential of this new model. I recommend getting more of the newer batteries (or simply buy the 3-battery set of this model).

No the new batteries are double the size and capacity of the old ones...you might do the other way round as discussed above...
