Hi guys, what a wonderful day nice and sunny, I enjoyed your little tour of the market, and the produce looked very appetising, fantastic 🏴

Thankyou, we like making out vids very organic. Not alot of razzle dazzle, leave that to the younger crowd.

Hi both! Poison Ivy! I am one of those nosy people on youtube. I have been watching videos of people who retired in the Philippines and I have a high degree of respect for you and your wife - living a simple and yet I say is a comfortable lifestyle. I have been in the US for 20 yrs. and I am hoping to take myself and my husband- RoundUp, to live and spend retirement in Philippines (approx. 1- 2 yrs). I want for us to be able to live like ya’ll - close proximity to people, roosters, public transportation,and all :) I hope to be able to leave behind the Western ways I adapted :) Kudos to you both!

YOU. will love it here. Your money will go 4 to 5 times further and no cold days....ever. then there is the fact that a scenic ocean side tropical beach is only a hour or 2 away should seal the deal. Have fun !

You guys are living a simple, enjoyable and relaxing lifestyle. I am planning my first trip to the Philippines after recently returning from Thailand. I am looking forward to my trip there. Wishing you both all the best. Keep up your great and informative videos. Best regards.

Best of luck! I'm sure you will love it here. In Manila visit the old fort and the Mania cathedral. Amazing places both and close to each other.

You need a cooler bag for the meats in that heat .
@SouthPaths9 ай бұрын
I try not to think about it...perhaps a cooler bag is a good idea. It's just trying to keep ice. If we froze part full pop bottles frozen in our freezer, that would help. Your idea has merit for sure, I will get on that, thanks !

great market. how often to you go? what do you have for your breakfast each day? coconut yogurt, fruit and nuts every day keeps pounds off for me. I suppose in Philippines I could make my own yogurt.
@SouthPaths9 ай бұрын
You sure could make it. I have simple portage each morning and a cup of coffee, we head out to get groceries about 1 day a week and to the market once too. Separate days usually as dragging home several bags on a jeepney is no fun.

Really like the market video. Do you two ever buy meat from that market? Is it safe? I'd go broke buying the fruits and veggies.
@SouthPaths9 ай бұрын
Well so far so good for the meats, we prepare well and its very fresh as last night's processing. YES ! the fruits and veggies are amazing! Wayyyy better than out of Walmart back in Canada. Super fresh.
