Tashi Delek, Very nice. My dad was born in west Tibet and could see Mt Everest in the distance. He use to climb up tall vertical cliffs as a boy without any climbing equipment! He remembers seeing a young wild snow leopard from a far distance. His grandmother was very wealthy with thousands of sheep. She bred Tibetan mastiffs to keep for herself inorder to guard/herd her sheep. He told me that Tibetan Mastiffs were highly valued and could be traded for one yak; one Tibetan Mastiff: one yak. My dad never ate any water animals because it was a food taboo in i believe most or all Tibet. When he left Tibet at age 19, he tried fish for the first time in India. He has many fascinating and intriguing stories he’s told me about his mother country.
