Last trip through Tibet before leaving China!

Journey starting from Chengdu to Garze. Part I
I'm moving back to the US for the holidays so obviously one last trip through Tibet outside of the TAR was a must! This is just the beginning of the trip so there are many beautiful scenery shots from the car. In later parts I will be reaching Dege, Dzongsar, Yachen Gar etc!

Thomas Bär The awesome thing about these places is that you can with just a Chinese tourist visa! They’re outside of the TAR so it’s just considered a part of the Sichuan Province

Dear Anna, the roads shown in your video from Chengdu to Garze are so neat! When I was travelling there about 10 years ago, the roads were very bumpy and full of dirt! It's good to see that the road condition improved so much! Kangding is an amazing city so refreshing and peaceful. If you can use the Ballad of Kangding ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGGYq5uDm76jhs0m09s ) as the background music, it would be more fitting to your video in the setting of Kangding, haha .... You should definitely persuade your daddy to ditch his vegan prejudice and embrace the Yak meat! What a pity not being able to enjoy the yummy local cuisine made from fresh Yak meat while traveling in Tibet! Even the monks ditched vegetarian and enjoy the Yak meat!!! 15:37 It's amazing to see so many Tibetan local folks are doing Public Square Dancing! Such a fun pastime! 2:39 Shows you have such sparkling beautiful eyes, are they in a mixture of blue greenish brown color? So lovely and beautiful!

How can you travel inside Tibet without the accompany of Tourist Guider? I heard all foreigners has to join the group tour organized by the travel agent, is it true?

SAM S Yes that’s true, but we were traveling outside of the TAR, Tibetan Autonomous Region, so it’s not quite the same process. However, we were accompanied by a tour guide and driver for most of the trip! The places in my video are just considered a part of the Sichuan province
