Thank you very much. The key to remove specific negative feeling with targeted action and posture. Thank you very much for the insight. Secondly, the willingness to be honest about ones imperfection and eager to level up through training is very inspiring. Thank you very much. I will be coming back again and again and again ... to remind myself when I am overwhelmed by the daily stress..

Bruce Lee actually had the same philosophy. Knowing is not enough, willing is not enough… One must act 🙏🏼 so is the nature of self inquiry.. The essence of life cannot be lived…it can only be experienced. The first step or stage if you will is to be silent… not by voice but by mind…

this video is a testament to the truth that there are still answers to a lot of questions and problems of humanity. that there are beings of love and light who still guides and leads the way up to these present moments when materialism is seemingly gaining control above spirituality and love. there is still a lot of hope for humanity. and the key is love.

Dharma is NOT a religion. Many Sanskrit words have no equivalents in English and Dharma is one of them. Dharma is a way of life, its not about blind faith nor dogmas, nor dualistic conceptions of divinity. Its about attaining equanimity, compassion and living life in its truest essence. Monotheistic religion can never be compared with Eastern spiritual traditions. Its ironic nowadays that many Westerns have wholeheartedly embraced the Dharma because of their disagreements with Monotheism.

Is it wrong to passively show anger or disappointment after seeing the people you care about wrong you? Is it wrong to try to wake them up or get them to realize what they are doing wrong? It was difficult... it felt like a climb. Felt like the teachings of others are so wrong... I feel like I've returned to my normal state but I'd like to see more again. Is meditation key? Is it ok to learn from different techniques and teachings from different groups then? Will the answers just come to me?
@tanyabrown9839

There is a difference between making out we are angry to try to get through to someone eg parents often do this with their children to try to stop them from doing bad things, to actually being angry with someone. There is no need for feeling anger and it does negatively affect us.

Here is my concern: Shame that the old ones are passing and the traditions aren't remaining intact. But as consciousness and DNA evolves, shouldn't the youth look to embrace the pass but still strengthen it and advance the techniques? The west might have strayed from spiritual advancement but at least we look to improve and make gains. I think if some of these younger students looked within they might be able to better some of these old dying practices for a new generation.

I dont know much about the percecution of the tibetan by the chinese. Its strange but when i thought about it i started to cry, im not the type of person to cry at all but for some reason i couldnt help it these people seem so genuine i cant help but feel compassion for them. It seemed more than just the concept of persecution, its a mystery to me how or why i felt this sudden compassion.

@Jangaboo yogis can have hair. they are more like....sages, who dont shave their head. the practice of shaving one's head was more of a symbolism of buddhism. having hair => beautification/maintenance => less concentration on practice. shaving one's head is a practice to show your devotion etc and it was more of a practice than the rule. however it was said that buddha wanted his followers to shave their head, that is after he declared himself as buddha. so when you go back to origin of buddhism, you will notice that first few disciples of buddha has hair. but i can see your confusion since some "monks" have hair and some dont. monks of tibetan buddhism and zen buddhism dont usually shave their heads. but theravada buddhism and mahayana do. that was my speculation. it might also be the difference between a devotee and a practitioner too.

John Smith, Shaving heads or letting hair grow as sages has more to do with the rules & policies of sangha/community rather than the Dharma itself. However, this is a trivial issue but most importantly the practice that effects Buddhism negatively is the practice of secrecy. There is NO SECRETS in Buddhism. As Buddha said, the highest merit a man can earn is through charity of Dharma, that means teaching Dharma to laity. It looks like the Tibetan monks did not understand Buddhism properly or perhaps, their local traditions & customs has distorted Buddhism. Nevertheless, there's no yoga in Buddhism; Buddha did not teach any yoga nor it's mentioned in Pali Canon. Yoga & secrecy sounds more like vodoo cult rather than Buddhism.

@@charleswey4895 Lord Buddha has taught 84000 ways, which is divided in 3 highways. The main aim Buddhist practice is to uproot the klesha (emotional defilements) and ignorance. 1.way of renunciation: This is a way of renouncing the things that increase our klesha. Eg: Theravada or Shravakyana 2. Way of Antidote : This a way of using antidote to the emotional defilements like if i have anger i meditate on compassion etc. eg: Zen Buddhism 3. Way of transformation : This is a way of transforming our emotional defilements into wisdom , and the nature of mind is used as a tool to do so. It is kept secret in order to save the purity .

Interesting because I see the world is already this spritiual place - perhaps because I am American and Americans tend to be very religious people, as well as a material place. The material plane is "the sand box of the soul" for humans...but escape through efforts to deny the physical aspects of life - for me, that hasn't worked. For me at least, that's not the answer. The spiritual as harmonious with material reality - I think that points the directions towards the answer.

Karma in previous life???- so evil people in this life will be punished in the next life. This is like victim shaming- you are suffering because you did bad things in previous life. Seriously. And if you have so many secrets -refine it and teach it to the world so common people can practice and benefit. Isnt hiding it itself a bad karma?
@tanyabrown9839
@tanyabrown9839 Жыл бұрын
The secret advanced practices can actually be dangerous to people who are not ready to receive them or if incorrectly practiced so they are hidden for more reasons then to make sure the practices maintain their purity. Plus karma isn't at all about 'punishment' (one can also have good karma), it is more about what energies you give out you naturally attract.. it may come back at you this life or another life or even one after that.
