These unpublished teachings of the Secret Guru - unpublished in the Portuguese language - offer a review of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lamrim) in the form of a brief and forceful speech as spontaneous advice received directly from the Guru.
The Monk Friend comments paragraph by paragraph on the meaning of this teaching and its applications in practical life, such as the importance of looking after the mind, motivation, altruism, great compassion and universal responsibility, bodhichitta, the importance of the Guru and how to relate with the Guru and the Sangha in the practice of Vajrayana, how to choose a Guru and how to deal with "divorces".
The teaching concludes with a reflection on the nature of meditation, concluding that the most important point of the practice is not the recitation of prayers and mantras, but the good heart and the attitude that analyzes each situation and positions and corrects the mind at each moment of the day. our everyday lives - and from this perspective there is little difference whether we are lay people or ordained monks.
In addition to the nature of the Guru and the Three Jewels, we will talk about sentient beings, our perspective and trajectory of practice, and the role and importance of figures such as His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama (friend of Monk Coen, Monk Gensho, Lama Padma Samten and other disciples of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche) and Protector Dorje Shugden (friend of the Gelugpa lineage, Tibetan Buddhism and all sentient beings).
