Keeping a large dog like this chained up when clearly he needs lots of room and exercise to roam where he pleases not to mention keeping them chained up will frustrate him and cause aggression having your child around him/her. you never know when he's just God for bid it takes out his frustration on the baby.

This is really a bad test ......childrens are children's they sometimes goes straight to the dog regardless of what and when is the right time to give a hug or pull a hair or the ears.......this might end up on many cases a quick bite from the dog and sometimes even worst ........ although our Tibetans dog has a legendary story and great behaving character and intelligent levels but we must not forget the are Animals not humans ... Please don't do such test ....and put your children in risk .....

@@abhishekkumar-vp8th You r talking with someone who's grown up with 2 T.Mastiffs, and still lives with 1 Tibetan Mastiff and 1 Rottweiler. Never had a problem or issues with them. For me they were just a Big Teddy Bear when i was a child. I use to jump on them, sit on their backs rc. They r very good family pets and Protective. But you r right they need socialize and training for outsiders.

You pointed out that I'm wrong in first reply and agreed with me in the next reply... anyways the tibetan mastiff are huge dogs and most of the dogs outside China are not pure breed thats a different topic. but still these dogs have the same characteristics upto some extent and they are having bad reputation everywhere if its socialized and trained properly any such dog is friendly with its family.
