My family members highly appreciate your work. I will miss you. We all are Tibetans, do not matter what passports we have. In late 1960s & early 1970s there were number of Tibetan Muslim young people worked for Tibetan government. They were highly educated & I did know few of them who spoke English Hindi fluently. But with your deeply compassion that I hope you can advice the Tibetan government remove the ban against Dorje Shugden Practictioners with discrimination with Dorje Shugden followers. They can not visit the monastery, they can't get food or stay at the monastery if they are Dorje Shugden Practictioners. Did Kungo Penpa Tsering la asked Sakina Batt that why she wanted to leave her job and did he encouraged her to continue? I am asking this because she is from our muslim Tibetan brothers and sisters, a minority community in our Society. It was good that she has a virtual audience with H H The great XIV Dalai Lama but during the course of the audience she looks very emotional and tears were falling down from her eyes continuously. Does it shows that she has a strong attachment and wish to serve the CTA from her capacity but certain factors has compelled her to make this emotional decision. We talk great things but fails to hold little things that could be the foundation of unity and development to our Society in the long run….

From Buddhist point of view, I feel sad they become muslim being a Tibetan ,om ma ni pad may hung. But if they were muslim from their forefathers it's different talk but if they have changed them to muslim in their present life. Soooooo sad.

Yes, heard she had mentioned her mother is Buddhist who converted after her marriage. Then I guess kids become Muslim so yes that’s sad. Yes Islam does become political, cultural, quite pervasive then tends to slowly take over one’s indigenous identity. For sure Tibetan Muslim does seem stay stronger in keeping their Tibetan identity but I am sure it will become much harder as the time passes.

@@Bzdm0 I agree with you in principle but in reality do you know Islam is a complete package unlike any other religion. It covers every aspect and facet of ones life of Religion, Cultural, Food, Political Islam as written in Koran, Hadith, Sharia law. Thad all scriptures are Arabic and all need to learn Arabic. So yes there is a strong Arabic culture infused in it. So if one practices all of it, there is no room and contradictory to ones native culture as we see being demonstrated in the Islamic world. So are you sure they are Tibetan first and Islam second. Not. So you need to do a little more research to understand reality. That concern and fear can’t be all labeled as Islamaphobia as what some left leaning would accuse of .
