I cannot believe the amount of work this woman does before her breakfast! I want to give her a hug and thank her for her amazing strength. By the time she graduated they had gotten indoor plumping but her grandmother still couldnt stand the thought of using the bathroom inside of your house. Seeing this makes me a little sad. It reminded me of our life as children in the late 50s and early 60s. My mother worked so hard to feed and clothe us. I especially remember her working in the cotton and tobacco fields, and then coming home to make a full meal each night . I remember her cooking on a wood stove when the outside temp was a 100 degrees F. Brutal. And then she died at 48, just when her last child was grown up. I salute all of the hardworking women and mothers of the world.

That made me 😢 cry, but then I thought how fortunate you and your siblings were to have had such a wonderful, beautiful mother who loved you so much she literally sacrificed her life for her children. She deserves “ Mother Of The Century Award”. I am so sad (and feel a righteous anger) she had to work all day in cotton and tobacco fields. I’m pretty sure the wealthy overlords who owned those fields didn’t have wives who had to cook on wood stoves in the heat like that. Your mother and thousands that came before her made that possible for the Tobacco Companies who, I feel, OWE the people who made them so wealthy. I lived in Southern Georgia when I was 15. It was an eye-opening experience for me to see that...coming from the Upper Midwest. I saw the disparity of income and the inequality of African Americans picking cotton and then I saw the mansions where the White people lived near those fields. I hated that then and now. You were blessed though that you had a mother who just did what she had to do, at any cost, to feed you and make sure you had clothes and were loved and cared for. And that really is the greatest wealth a person could have... The LOVE OF A MOTHER. I grew up without a mother.

In Our culture we consider mother is a earthly Goddess who spreads compassion and sacrifices her whole life to build up her sons in a right direction to live a meaningful life.she never think something will returns from her son but live the life meaningful and have a kind-heart is the best gratitude to her. Many ignorant people don’t realise it until the last breath of her life. Just hope you all will cherish when your mom is with you. Mom, I’m praying for your longevity and health. A Proverbs 31 woman rises first, directs her household, works late into the night, buys & sells to make family profit and ascertains her husband is seen as a respectable member in their society. This lady gives honor to her family with all her efforts. Many commenters forget this clip is about the woman and is only 50 minutes of her total day. We don’t do it because we want to but we had to. If this woman or our grandmothers didn’t do all those work in silence then they wouldn’t be beaten? Then the family, society would tell them, It's woman fault. Sad to hear this, we always are the mother,sister,wife but never a human. We always belong to some male.

The reality is we don't want to be work , work and we woman are sacrifice our own goals, Our dreams .....Men do they do the same like us.They have their freedom to choose ..We specialy Asian and African women don't have freedom to choose what we want in our life.Others are controling,, because they have our remotes in THEIR bl..y hands.We.have dreams ....too.. I am so sorry.... the truth is always bitter than what we see....We have our own stories.... think..then you will realize the truth.

She does NOT need a TV or computer or a telephone or any high tech to live her life. I don't see any pollution , simple sustainable lifestyle. The kids are happy, respectful and just go abt their routine..the dad looks exhausted I'm sure of working outside somewhere and mama has EVERYTHING under control with a happy demeanor. GOD BLESS them all and provide for their daily needs. Mighty woman , may GOD continue to give all mothers who work so hard strength & perfect health to care for their families . @Zoë Lafantaisie I grew up in a similar household... Everything you see in the household featured in this video is provided by the man's hard work. In that part of the world, a woman would have a hard time surviving without a man by her side; they truly are partners. As for the western world, if tomorrow men stopped doing the heavy lifting... well, I'll let you imagine for yourself what the outcome of our cozy society would be. So, keep on bashing men...

I am humbled too. It is easy to find ten million women in america -literallly and none will come close to a fraction as good and beautiful inside out as a woman like this one. This is no hyperbole, this is litterally the case and it puts light on ancient scriptures when god said if I find 50 righteous i will spare Sodome and Ghomorra. What if there were only 45. Then he said on account of the 45 righteous ones i will spare the city... this goes on until 10..... But there were not 10. The city was destroyed. This is was some civilizations deserve today. As sodome and Ghomora was no worse.

@@VaPensiero_ You're such a myopic fool. I made these comments so she could study and become a teacher or something like that so she wouldn't be house-bound.
@VaPensiero_4 жыл бұрын
@@beazleteats4031 I hope you are very young, so it’s just a naiveté. Most probably, you’ve been protected by the city for all your life, with access to potable water (hot and cold), electricity, gas, heating and more on your whim. You most probably bought your food; you didn’t have to grow it yourself and to take care of your future food (crops and animals) on the daily basis. She’s house-bound, because that’s how they survive. That’s how people live in this region, mostly from agriculture. She takes care of her kid, she cooks for several people, she takes care of the animals, she works in fields, she repairs clothes, she cleans - and all that without access to water and electricity, so she needs to fetch water and wood every day. Dude, if she can have 20 minutes a day to study - that’d be such a huge sacrifice, I’m not sure it’s even humanely possible. This woman works all day long EVERY day for years. Her body and mind are exhausted. She needs electricity and running water. Then she could just sit down and do nothing for a moment, because all her life she’s being doing something every moment of her day. Her body and mind would recover a bit and she’d decide by herself what to do with her time. Also, how do you imagine becoming a teacher? Do you think learning to read is enough to become one? I guess your intentions are good, but you see things from your “civilized-city-born” perspective, and it doesn’t work this way everywhere on the planet. My previous comment was a sarcastic one, though now I’m not sure you appreciate sarcasm.

Great documentary. Life isn’t leisurely for many and when you offer it to them they don’t understand it. We live blessed lives but so many are often far too lazy and balk at work as if it is beneath them. That is my experience. Those that do the “dirty work” are looked down on. So sad so many think her husband does nothing, he has a job this focuses on her not him.

It's do it or starve though. Just as westerners get up and follow a "go-to-work" routine five or more days per week, this is how many throughout the world survive. It's not really a question of dedication. It's does she want to eat and feed her family, her animals etc. She doesn't have a choice. No work. No food and that was the norm for thousands of years. Only now do women, particularly in the west, want praise for doing what is essentially a duty for survival. Women complain about having to do the laundry, when they just throw it into a whole and hit a button. It's insane.
