Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) Surgery in Dogs

My lab/golden had this TTA 1-13-2022 in Lynchburg Va. and it cost $2,979. So far she is recovering well and now walking 30 minutes or more twice a day. Hopefully she will be off the leash in another month or so. She has an x-ray/check up scheduled next week which was included in the cost.

This costs 3,500 minimum in WA state. That’s in eastern WA. It’s 6,500 in western WA. My GSP just had this done so I was doing research.

Do you know if he releases the meniscus or leaves it in if not torn already

They take out any damaged meniscus usually the media part but leave the non damages meniscus
