Tibidabo Amusement Park Barcelona Vlog August 2021

Join me as I head to the historic Tibidabo Amusement Park in Barcelona, Spain for my first ever visit. In this vlog I experience everything this mountain top amusement park has to offer, including spectacular views and awesome rides. I share POV footage from all of the major rides including a fantastic family roller coaster with stunning views of Barcelona. Along with that I share the history of Tibidabo and ride a number of older vintage rides including a unique aeroplane ride that dates back to 1928!

2:02 Parque De Atracciones De Monte Igueldo has that, also in Spain! Beautiful, charming theme park! Very few rides, but the atmosphere there is stunning! They've also got the oldest operating steel roller coaster in the world and the oldest coaster in the country, dating back to 1929! (It got converted from wooden track to steel track back in the 80's).

Glad you liked my homepark! Walt Disney did in fact visited Tibidabo and he actually wanted to purchase the whole collection of automatons from the automatas museum with a blank check but the park declined XDDD

For covid isolation reasons Theme park worldwide has been my only companion for the last 6 days, I went from this video all the way back to mid April in 6 days, this channel kept me sane the whole time, best bit of three months of videos, the Tagada rides at two fun fairs, hilarious 😂 this channel deserves a weekly Terestrial TV programme of best bits for sure!

Went here around 20yrs ago as a kid. Had to take a bus up to it. Dont think the train existed. Remember it was a maze of rides on a hill. Thank you for posting! Lots of memories flooding back!

The funicular dates back to 1901! But the bus is faster if you come from the center, which is the most probable if you're a tourist :)

That was awesome. Was in Barcelona back in 2003. I looked at some old images of the funiclar up to Tibidabo, was very different back then. Also have one pic with the big wheel and Talaia in the background, they haven't changed much. I look forward to revisiting one day.

This was an amazing vlog!!! I've only seen Barcelona in pictures and in the Cheetah Girls movie and it is so stunningly beautiful!!! I would love to visit there some day along with visiting Tibidabo!!! I loved the aerial attractions and I was really impressed with that funicular. That cathedral was beautiful inside and out. That mirror maze was really cool and unique!

You´ll get the shock of your life when you ride "furos Baco" at Portadventura. I have never rode on a roller coaster with such intense vibration. The vibration went right though my head & through my entire body! & you thought that one at Thorpe Park was bad!

Honestly I’m totally speechless what an amazing 🤩 unique park which is combined with the historic buildings spectacular views and most of all the church with its beautiful interior of art designs, the museum was really cool too. However attraction wise there’s always bound to be some unexpected Spanish rides like the dark hotel lol 😆, I’ve never been to mainland Spain although I’ve visited the other Spanish islands - Ibiza, Tenerife, Portugal, mostly Majorca as they have an awesome mini theme park directly in magaluf’s strip including an upside house called Katmundu as they’ve got some really unexpected awesome unique theme parks splash parks too , I forgot to mention south west of Majorca they have a spectacular pirate show too. Anyways as for this vlog I absolutely thoroughly loved watching this vlog I enjoyed every minute of this from start to finish, Thank you ever so much Shawn for making this vlog. I can’t wait to see your other latest vlogs

I think an Intimin Hot Racer is more likely since it would be cheaper to ship to the park and with the odd layout of Big Dipper, and the single rail mountain coaster at Anakeesta in Tennessee, it would be cool (especially with a giant Dive Loop or barrel roll drop off the mountain)

The first thing I thought about when you went up the funicular was the views from your Ocean Park vlog in Hong Kong! Sure enough you mentioned it later in the vlog. Spectacular!

The reason why is no much thrill-rides in this park is that is PortAventura in 1h distance by car or 1:20 by train. Tibitabo is great for toddlers and young kids, my children really enjoyed it, we had the annual pass too, now (they are 7 and 8) we are going twice a year to spend some days in the PorAventura World resort, and next summer we'll go again and thanks to your videos we will go to Phantasialand and EuropaPark. After your video we will go this week to Tibidabo. Thank you for your work.
