Tica Titanclaw TC300H Repair and Service (click “CC” for English translation)

DIY reel reapir and service for a Tica Titanclaw. 2nd time to replace the level wind worm gear. Also found out that the spring washer is cracked. Not a good quality reel.

Ive had several tica reels and recently was given two of these by my wife as a gift and they both were junk directly outve the box. One had a malfunctioning clicker mechanism and the other had a stripped out drag system. And like i said they were this way directly out of the box never even got to fish with them. Terrible reels buy okuma komodos or abu revo series i your looking for heavy duty low pro reels because these aren it

Used it few times, the levelwind failed. Also the spring washer for the drag system was cracked when I disassembled the reel.

Yes, already replaced worm gear twice and found out spring washer was cracked. I have to return one due to the same problem. Too bad! The design is really nice.
