I agree. I called the cops when I saw a child in the backseat alone in the car. I waited for a little while hoping the parent or parents would come out but 10 mins went by so I called..The parent, the mother finally came out and freaked out on me for calling the cops. All it would take is a few mins for the kid to get kidnapped. Stupid parents. Take your kid with you

Some ppl have done this on purpose. Some guy was running errands with his son strapped in the back. He said he forgot about the baby and went to work. The poor child ended up passing away in the hot car. He claimed he was under stress and just forgot. Well further investigation found that he did it on purpose. They looked up his search history on his computer and he was looking for a way to get away with murder

I agree with you, but Fall is almost as deadly as Summer in the Southeast, its more times hotter and more humid then summer. Also, Fall gets the most hurricanes on average. Spring on the other hand, if you die, its either natural or flooding.

I have a 10 min limit on leaving my dog in the car (usually she has water and windows open) but she's usually not with me if it's the sweltering hot heat, but I would not leave my kid for more than 30 seconds (post office, lol) unfortunately I know one person who left their child in the car and the baby died (in the driveway of their house, he was sleeping and the father forgot he had the child as he usually didn't at that time) very sad/angering/unbelievable
