This!!! This is what and how I try and explain it to everybody... but fail miserably ... the’ but what are the symptoms? Isn’t that just life/menopause/ stress/etc etc.... ‘. And ‘at least it’s not cancer/ms/Parkinson’s/dementia.... etcetc’ but this... THIS is exactly it! Wish every GP and patient friends and family could watch this! Just pop it in before the news.. a couple of minutes to flash before their eyes... and then maybe... maybe... seeing something so perfectly explained and presented in such a beautiful way would help them realise how it is. This is it. In a nutshell. This is why I’m broke. This is why you don’t see me around any more. This is why I don’t have a career... a passport... a life! Anymore. My life goal is now just to get in remission ... I’ve tried for sooo long .. when I get there.. it never lasts.. I’m always back at square one.. just a little less focused... a little less believing... a little less optimistic.. more broke.. more dis allusioned, more exhausted if that’s possible... more alone... but we still stumble on. Thank you for making this. And may your fight and health persevere!

So powerful. Thank you for putting this together. I lost a dear friend when she was just 30 years old. Fit, sporty, talented and exceptionally kind. She never recalled a tick bite or bullseye radh. Shr had been misdiagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 11 years. Finally she identified the Lyme herself after reading stories of other sufferers, which was confirmed by a test which she had to keep requesting until finally the doctors allowed her. She went to Germany for intensive antibiotic treatment but it was too late and made her even more sick. She couldn't hold down work and some days had to be carried to the bathroom by her dad. In the end, just as you said in your video, she saw no future for herself and took her life to end her sentence of suffering. She is often in my thoughts still. I really wish you the best and hope you make a recovery.

The most accessible piece of content I've seen on LD. Had my diagnosis from German testing, dismissed by NHS/HTD through retesting and absolute rubbishing of the German lab protocol. Thankfully nothing like as bad as your symptoms, but still feel like 10 years have been flattened by it. Likewise given the CFS/depression diagnosis. Congrats on this - hope it gets the airtime it deserves.

Very real, and relatable to those of us with chronic Lyme. If you can't afford a decent private test nhs won't help you and probably label you with something like fibromyalgia. It's devastating and needs recognition in the same way long covid has now become recognized...

This is it exactly and what people and mainstream medical professionals don’t understand. After all you can’t get it untill you’ve got it.

Hi I’m struggling with this , I have IGM antibodies but no IGG so have been told it can’t be Lyme even though I was bitten !! Still suffering 😢

Me too

That was my situation too. The reason this happens is the Lyme bacteria suppress your body’s immune response so you don’t develop the IGg antibodies. It also means you probably got co-infections along with the Borrelia (Lyme) infection. If you are Igm positive you have an active infection. The NHS don’t recognise this. If you’re in the UK Google Dr Lambert, infectious diseases specialist based in Dublin. I am getting well now that I’m on proper treatment for Lyme. I hope you see this and get some help.

Armin Labs in Germany is very popular, but my test was sent to Invita Labs, also germany. I got the test done at breakspear medical in Hemel Hempstead
