It looks so much smoother than other wear os watches and I can assume it's because of the newest chip. Why haven't other watch makers use the 4100?

How do you avoid the watch waking up when receiving notifications? Is there a setting or do you just avoid tilting your wrist when receiving a text? Ps tip: essential mode still allows you to monitor sleep and heart rate, so at night there's no reason not to use it (except if you want the alarm on your wrist)

I also tried to solve this issue. I find that with tilt to wake turned off, it'll still wake after tilting if it received a notification while being in essential mode. It wouldn't turn on reception, though, only on tilt after ceception. This is the best I could manage and is actually the behavior I was hoping for so I don't think I'll try to tinker with it any further. You may want to turn off tilt to wake and set notification preview to off, but that will mean that the notifications will not appear even when the watch is on.

Sad it's not in the point where WearOS really does a good job, also the developers doesn't go full to make the apps for it, maybe now that's Samsung and many others are jumping to WearOS more will do it as well. Great review man, BTW, as I'm latin my name in english sounds like it was written "Shemy".

It does a pretty good job for most. And there is nothing confirmed saying Samsung will downgrade from Tizen to Wear OS.. Only rumours. Considering their history it's a bit doubtful they will do it unless Google paid alot.... But IF they do then Wear OS can get better than it is now.

It was fixed on other devices recently. It's still trash on my s6 lite so I'm not sure if it's ok on the watch. temper your expectations or better yet wait for updates on the new unholy alliance of wear os and Samsung tizen

I just got mines today. I have 2 problems, firstly the ok google detection doesn't work. Secondly I activated google pay, and it constantly asks for my password/pattern unlock evertime I want to use the watch. I thought the watch only needed the unlock code 1 time whilst on my wrist. Has anyone else got these stupid problems?

If you are wqaiting for "the endgame" then I think you need to wait forever.... ;) There will never really be a endgame in tech products I recomend Samsung watches etc. It's a smart watch... How interesting must it be to hang on your wrist and do basic stuff? :P I am happy aslong as it actually looks like a watch and not some toy like Apple Watch.

@@Oystein87 battery sucks on the samsung watches though. This is way better in that regard. For me, this main draw of this watch would be to quickly access google assistant instead of having to yell at my smartspeakers.

@@wmurch3 Yeah.. But it kinda fits my use with charging it at day or night every 2 or 4 days etc. Voice assistents is the first thing I disable on all devices so I don't care about that. I rather use my Logitech Harmony Elite to control my home cinema and combined stereo and lights as the remote is by my side in the couch anyway. And the way I set it up it goes faster using it too😝 And if there is that extremely rare occasion I have to do anything and the remote is not with me I have my phone. And if not I have feet and arms😝

I love this watch, but I hate the charger. The charger doesn't look Pro at all. I prefer the seating round charger the others Ticwatchs has..they feel and look more premium.

However...wear OS is still broken with regard to being able to sent text with your voice using the Google Assistant...that part of wear OS has been broken for a few years and Google refuses to fix it...why would any one want a wear OS watch with a broken Google Assistant....the Ticwatch Pro 3 is a fine example why people choose the Apple Watch.

Just get a metal or leather watchband from wish etc :P I have a couple for my Samsung and the quality is actually good and they are dirt cheap :P I am not a big fan of rubber bands :/
