Just wanted to comment on your comment about how it's hard to see the lcd/ftsn (non lit up) screen outdoors unless it's lit up (at 3:20), but actually the whole point of that other screen is to be very visible outdoors. I own ticwatch 2020 pro and am speaking from experience. Just go outside, and you'll see that brighter the sun is, the easier it is to read. It is in fact the OLED screen, that is harder to see in direct sunlight, hence the dual screen. The ftsn screen is no different than old school casio LCD watches or calculator screens and they are also easier to see as the brightness increases. :)

I'm in a similar place. I liked the humor, even with swearing, but the beeps were intensely loud and just uncomfortable to hear that piecing pitch in the middle of a sentence. I have been looking at replacing my TicWatch Pro Gen 1. After seeing this video, the PrickWatch is most definitely on the radar. However, before I commit to another Mobvoi product, I just want to see what Fossil will do. Will they use the 4100+? And will the 4100+ be a deal breaker. @Tech Spurt, thank you for the video though. I just picked up the Fossil Gen 6 this weekend on a Black Friday deal but I think I'm going to return it. It does have the 4100+ but less than an a day's charge and about a year until OS3 is killing an otherwise nice watch. Looking to get this instead. Can't stand Samsung.

You didn't mention GPS which is the main feature that would interest me and is usually a feature that sucks the battery juice like no other... Do you plan to cover it in a follow up video? So far the TicWatch Pro 3 looks pretty good. All the best, Rob

Great vid! Hows the actual performance, does it get choppy at all? I have the orig tic pro and with the less ram on it, it gets really choppy on it... even if i factory reset its fine for a day or two before it gets all choppy again. You're right ,he's wrong. He must not have actually tried it outdoors. The brighter the light, the easier to see, pretty much ,main reason I buy Ticwatch Pros. When exercising outdoors, I can glance at watch and see all data easily (as long as you are using ticwatch exercise apps), google fit won't show data on LCD screen.

@@johnmanley4528 you can see the Mobvoi sport activity data (most of it) on the LCD screen. Google fit, you will need to use the amoled screen (which any AMOLED is hard to see in very bright conditions). I get real time Heart rate, distance travelled ,time elapsed all on LCD screen when using mobvoi exercise apps which is great! any other questions don't hesitate to ask

mikeoes1 Thanks Mike. Just so that I understand, if you start let’s say a run on the Mobvoi sports app, can you see that or most of that data(timer, distance, etc...) on the LCD screen? That would be very helpful if that’s the case. I can’t see any Wear OS amoled screen in bright sunlight.

@@johnmanley4528 yes ,that is correct, you can see that data on lcd screen. But only while using Mobvoi exercise app, google fit app does not show data on lcd screen. (Mobvoi app developer must have programmed it that way) whereas google fit works on all wear os smart watches yet Ticwatch is only one with dual screen so they probs didn't take time to put that in the code.

I have a GT 2 pro. And the build quality is much better. The Tic watch is only plastic and glass. Nothing premium about it at all.

Been using the TicWatch Pro 4G LTE, but Vodafone for four months now haves not been able to connect it to their network properly. Lots of SMS phone and watch sharing problems. Very tempted to try the TicWatch 3 following your review. But why is the 3 newer than the 4?

Well I have ordered the pro 3 but I'm having second thoughts because of the Huawei gt 2 pro, just because of the battery life, titanium case and sapphire screen...the only thing that puts a doubt on my mind is the Huawei OS. Any suggestions thought?

I have the Huawei GT2. Not the pro. For me the fact that i have 14 days of battery power, is the most important fact. Os wear, interface crap, menu's, whatever.....14 days and it does everything for me. The speaker is a 10. Playing music is a 10. Measuring my blood oxygen is a 10. Hart monitor and stress monitor is a 10. Build quality is a 10. 6 months I have it and no scratches to be seen. NOTHING BEATS THE HUAWEI GT2....

No mistake, the LCD is impossible to see when in the hibernating state - all you see is glare on the screen. But when the light kicks in with the raise to wake feature, you can clearly see the text then.

I'm tempted to go for the new Honor GS pro because of its long life battery but I feel that tic watch is smarter (better view of messages and more apps with it's google wear, as for example taking voice notes etc). There is also 100 euro difference tho.. right now I could still get the GS Pro for 199 euro and with this price I think it could be a good deal even tho the Honor is quite limited on customization and basically only sport oriented. I plan on using the watch when I'm off work, and a Galaxy Fit-E/something else when I'm working, so battery life is not my number 1 priority. Definitely!!! looking for an upgrade on my original Galaxy Watch. It comfortably gets 4 days with most features turned off. The reality is who actually turns on all the features all the time!! Im really active and i dont.

Yep, if you just want a bit of step tracking etc, this'll stretch to 4-5 days. Still not as crazy good as the Huawei watches but v good indeed

Wear OS works on iPhone but not all features are available. As far as I know, you can’t make phone calls on Wear OS connected to iPhone, neither can you reply to any messages....it is essentially just for notifications

08:50 "easily get three days...includes all the tracking..." 4100 speed and the much larger is the really important part; your reported three days with 'everything' on is impressive. How long did it take to charge? I would have liked to see some bluetooth testing as well, as in how far from your phone before losing connection. I hope, and trust there will be an LTE version and... that there are operators that will activate it.
