The history of Tulsa’s Black community and history, especially the 1921 Race Massacre, is severely undertold; and mistruths and erasure of this history robs the community of respectful remembrance.
Watch as survivors of the massacre sit with community leaders and Angela Rye to reflect and inspire change.

The resistance, denial, apathy, and unwillingness to take responsibility to address this horrendous trauma to the Black Wall Street community, and truly to Tulsa, as a whole, is shocking! A complete acknowledgement of the terrorist act by the City of Tulsa that took place against the Black Wall Street community will be the first step. The waiting for over 100 years to take action is unconscionable! Step up and take full responsibility City of Tulsa! As a graduate of Oral Roberts University I am broken hearted at the gravity of this offense that persists in Tulsa. What is it that keeps the churches in Tulsa along with Oral Roberts University silent in the midst of this injustice? And we question whether white supremacy is still making an impact today?!

This was an awesome interview. The way they can at least attempt to make those survivors whole is to provide them with a beautiful home that is paid for and take care of all the bills for them as long as they remain on earth. There needs to be a foundation for families of the survivors to reclaim what was stolen from them.

It is shameful what others have done to us and it is a shame that people who look like us do some good but continue to traumatize us when they realize that there's a profit to be made. I think the problem is that we have bought into unbridled capitalism. Capitalism requires victims. Capitalism and consumerism will continue to be lead in the boots of progress.

Whoever this so called journalist is has a lot of learning to do. First of all she asking all these questions. Not letting the man finish his sentence, she always cutting him off. She rude and she keep asking the same question. He answering her to the best of his ability. I don’t care for people like her. You don’t do that let him finish his statement, and wait and be patient to ask him another question. My goodness who does this.

I’m reading comments from people of different races and ages. Speaking of their feelings and how stories like this need to be told. What I don’t see is people of different races and ages. Stepping up and speaking out to the government and president. So that these survivors get the justice they deserve. Making comments and sharing your feelings about this tragedy. Doesn’t help those in power to do the right thing. If people of other races truly want to see (FBAs) Foundational Black Amerikans get true justice. For the injustices that FBAs have endured for generations. I courage them to step up and make your voices heard. To our government and president. That would be greatly appreciated. ✌🏾
